  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I liked the packaging, and the feel of the moisturiser when I first put it on my skin, I'd describe the texture of the moisturiser as silky and light. I would have prefered it if the moisturiser was fragranced though. I can't say I noticed any difference in the appearance of my skin, but my skin felt nice after putting the moisturiser on - soft but not greasy.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I don't think it suits my skin very well, I think the texture is too light for my dry skin. In the mornings after using this moisturiser at night my skin feels rougher and tighter than when I use my usual moisturiser.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

No I don't prefer it as I don't think it really suits my skin type. I need a richer night cream than this one, so I wouldn't buy it again.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

It seem nice enough but it's not for me, so I won't be recommending it to anyone.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I really liked the packaging and the moisturizer felt really nice. It sinks in easily (easier than my daytime one actually!). I haven't particularly noticed much difference but my skin is quite good anyway.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I still like the moisturizer, but it still seems a little strange to have absolutely no fragrance. It feels so nice that it should have a nice smell to go with it.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I only occasionally used a night time moisturizer before and prefer this. I don't think I'd use it regularly because of the price, but this pot looks like it will last a long time.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend this if someone was looking for a special present, but most friends would not be able to afford it.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

Nicely packaged, LOVE that it's unscented (can't use most moisturizers because of the overpowering scent), lovely texture. It took a few minutes to 'sink in' but after that, my skin felt really, really smooth and comfortable.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I have dry skin, and find it very hard to find moisturizers that don't make my skin tight. This one really works for me. I no longer need a double layer of daytime moisturizer in the morning, and I haven't had to try to find a winter moisturizer so far. I love touching my face, it's so smooth, and I think my skin looks brighter.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I was using my daytime moisturizer, having never found a good unscented night cream, so yes, I prefer this one, and yes, I will continue using it. I like the results.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would recommend it, because it's really rare to find an unscented product that actually works.

  1. Nice packaging, texture was light, silky and fragrance-free, no I didn't notice a difference immediately when I first started using it.

.................

  1. I think the best thing about it is that a tiny bit goes a long way, which may justify the price tag and make it better value in the long run. It's also fragrance-free which I need in winter as my skin gets superdry and sensitive - but tbh no difference in my skin at all. I'm not glowing, don't look radiant and certainly don't look dewy or youthful! ): A little disappointed really as I was expecting great things.

I will continue to use it until the pot has finished, but from the results I've had so far I couldn't justify spending so much money on it.
It's keeping my skin moisturised, but that's about it - my normal brand can do that for a fraction of the cost.

.................

  1. No, I think I will stick to my cheap and cheerful normal brand - But I will continue to use it until the pot is finished. Maybe, just maybe I will get the desired results eventually but it's very unlikely that I will buy another, just too expensive.

.................

  1. Sorry, I probably would not, I would feel uncomfortable recommending such a high price item that may or may not work for the them. If someone recommended Clinique to me and it didn't deliver what was promised I would be very angry. So no, I wouldn't go out of my way to tell people about it tbh.

Thank you Clinique and Mumsnet for giving me the opportunity to try this product (:

  1. I liked the feel of the moisturizer. It was not too thick or too runny. I appreciated the lack of scent as I find them a bit cloying in most beauty products. Other moisturizers I have tried have made me break out. This did not.

  2. I really like it. I have very very dry, sensitive skin and it seemed to help a lot with flaky patches. I've just started using the Clinique three step system, so I liked the fact you could put this moisturizer on straight after doing that.

  3. I was not using a moisturizer before because I am very bad! I will keep using this one, I really like it and my skin feels softer and less dry. Other moisturizers I have tried haven't seemed to absorb and then my make up flakes off the next day. This seemed to really get into my skin.

  4. Yes, I would recommend it, if I could remember the entire name!! It has done a lot for my tired, dry face and I feel better for wearing it.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

Great packaging, nice and simple so gave the impression it is a "do what it says on the tin" product. Texture felt lovely and fresh, almost like a cream-gel type feel. Skin felt a bit tacky after application but it sank in fairly quickly.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I didnt like the initial greasy feeling it left on my skin, however to be fair I am used to using 'light' moisturisers. I didnt have to use alot so the jar will last quite a while I think. Best thing for me I think is that I have already noticed my skin has improved - the dry areas near my nose and forehead have improved drastically and my skin looks alot brighter and feels very soft and smooth. I have a 2.8 DS and a 6 week old DS so sleep and relaxation are a distant memory however this cream gives the illusion that Ive had a good nights sleep!

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

Yes I do prefer this one, much more. When this pot has finally ran out I would like to think I would buy another pot but would have to see how finances are at the time as I am on mat leave atm, but if I had the money I would definitely buy it again

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I already have, a friend commented that I was looking well (even though I had no make-up on and had 2 hours sleep the night before) and asked me what I had been using. Also my Mum, who knew I was using this product, said she might treat herself to a jar as she also thought I was looking better (backhanded compliments or what Hmm Wink)

IShallWearMidnight · 15/11/2011 18:51
  1. Lovely packaging, cream felt very smooth, stayed on the surface of my skin for a while, but didn't feel greasy. Like the fact it's unperfumed, as I'm really fussy about smells. It's almost (but not quite) minty, which is nice.
  2. I like it a lot. I didn't think it had made much visible difference (although my skin feels lovely), but I was told I "looked really good" at the weekend, whereas before people just wouldn't have commented, or asked if I'd been really busy ad was tired. Also having read the rest of the thread, I hadn't actually noticed, but my massive pores are much less massive now than they were, which is a result.
  3. I prefer this one to the own brand/cheap brands I normally use, and also to the Liz Earle stuff I treated myself to a while back. Whether I buy it myself once this pot is finished really depends on finances as it's quite pricey. But i like what it does, and it looks like the pot will last a while, so maybe...
  4. I would recommend it, but it's out of the budget of a lot of friends sadly.
maddiemostmerry · 15/11/2011 21:19

Hi, Here are the comments from myself and ds(15)

Me first

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I liked the colour of the packaging. I thought the pot was not such good quality as my usual cheaper cream.
I'm glad the cream isn't scented as that would have put me off as i have very sensitive skin. The cream is very light and absorbed very quickly. It didn't sting or make my face feel sore. The first morning after i had applied the cream my face did look redder and slightly rashy.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I was very surprised that apart from the first day my skin was fine with the cream. I think that because my skin is very dry it may actually need a richer cream. I like the fact that it was fine on my skin although I didn't see any big change my skin didn't get worse, and for me that is a big plus.
The only downside is that it probably isn't quite moisturizing enough for my skin.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I think I prefer my usual cream, just because it is a bit richer. It is also around £10 cheaper. I would use the clinique product though and would consider trying other clinique products.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend it. It is a good quality product and although more expensive than my usual cream the price is acceptable.

Now for Ds

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

My impressions were that this was the same as any other moisturizer, the packaging wasn't anything fancy, but the pot did seem to give a lot less moisturizer than expected compared to the price of the product. The cream rubs in well and is very smooth and light, and when first applied my skin did feel notably softer.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had a chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

There isn't really a great deal to say; I like that the moisturizer seems to be improving my skin, but apart from that it is nothing more than what I would expect from a decent moisturizer. There is nothing I dislike about the moisturizer however, and I have not been having any problems with it.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I definitely think that this moisturizer works better than my previous one (which is a different one from my mum's usual one). I was very impressed that there was an almost immediate difference in the texture of my skin, seeing as my previous moisturizer did not seem to make much difference at all.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend this product to some people, because it is quite decent and does work well, and I think some people would find this product rather beneficial.

HipHopOpotomus · 16/11/2011 12:16

I'm 44, have pretty much had a skincare routine since my teens but for the last few years (since being a Mum I guess) I've dropped the higher end products and used very basic cheaper products. But lately I've looked in the mirror and wondered if maybe it's time to take a little more care with myself - so was delighted to have opportunity to test the Clinique Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturiser. I've always loved Clinique make-up, but didn't get on too well with the three step system when I tried it years ago.

First impressions were positive. Nice packaging, not overly packaged. Jar size good (same as my day cream). The cream itself is perfect for me as far as texture goes - it's creamy and rich, but also light - not at all greasy. It smooths on lightly and easily and it absorbs into my skin really well. My skin felt great and ready for bed (I don't feel like there is cream left on skin to rub off onto pillow IYKWIM). In the morning I thought I noticed a slight difference - my skin was more hydrated looking than usual.

I've used the night cream for 2 weeks now. I'm happy with the cream and think my skin is looking better. I don't know that wrinkles are diminished (I don't have than many yet) but my skin is looking lovely - brighter. Some days in the weekend I've been happy to go make-up free (I usually always wear a tinted moisturiser) and feel that my skin-tone has improved. I would say it is certainly better hydrated that before I was using the Clinique.

I prefer the Turnaround cream to my previous regime and feel a renewed faith in skincare products all round. This does a much better job than my more basic previous routine and I feel that you do get 'more' for your money. I will probably continue to use it once this jar is all gone and I'm also going to look into a better daycream etc too. With a 4yo and 6month old, it's time to spend a little more on maintaining me. As it goes on so well, I don't use as much as I would of the cheaper product - so I figure a jar will last quite a bit longer.

I've had a really positive experience sampling the Turnaround cream, and feel like it's worth spending a little more that I have done in recent years on good skincare products. On that basis I'd happily recommend this moisturiser if it came up in conversation, and more than likely will.

HipHopOpotomus · 16/11/2011 12:29

In addition, I love that the cream is unscented. I find my skin has become more sensitive over the years, and aim for unscented products these days. I can put perfume on if I want a scent - I don't need to rub fragrance into my face!

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I loved the packaging. I found the texture light and not at all greasy, my skin felt very clean and definitely softer.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I still really like it, especially the texture and that it sinks ito the skin so smoothly. My skin is much softer.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I was using Boots No 7 night cream previously but I prefer this Clinique one, mainly as it doesn't feel so heavy on the skin. I've been using No7 since my teens and was reluctant to change but am now converted smile. I've asked for the day cream from Santa grin

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not? Definitely, It hasn't worked miracles I don't look 21 again, I think i've got fairly good skin anyway but my skin does feel lovely and soft.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

The packaging is very nice, I liked it a lot. Texture and feel of the moisturizer were nice, seemed light and unperfumed. I didn't notice any real difference when using the cream but did like it, if that makes sense.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I do like it, the best thing is probably how light it is. I don't really dislike it as such, but I do think the price tag is quite high (obviously not for me on this trial!).

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

No I prefer the moisturizer I was using before - Liz Earle. I really like Liz Earle skincare, I think my skin looks at its best when using this - much brighter when I follow the whole hot cloth cleanser routine (which admittedly I don't always as I'm so knackered). I will definitely finish the pot happily though.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I think so, but only if I know that the person would be happy with the price tag, as it's a lot to recommend to someone who is happy with their ponds face cream!

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?
Lovethe packaging, as always with Clinique it looks very stylish and expensive. I like how light the moisturiser is, not too greasy. I like the fact it is unfragranced too.

  2. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?
I like how little I need to use, it feels like it will last a long time.

  3. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?
I use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel (I do the three step routine) and think I would be more likely to use this moisturiser during the winter when my skin is a little drier.

  4. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?
I have already recommended to my mum. I haven't noticed any improvement on my skin yet but will keep using it a bit longer to see if I can see a difference.

pantspantspants · 17/11/2011 11:05

First impression - Nice packaging although I would struggle to recall the name/packaging when/if I brought it again.

Texture/feel - Felt clean and pure, not grainy or heavy. Consistency was good, felt like it would go along way without being thick. I liked the sheen it had when in the pot, looked good quality. Initially on opening the pot I thought It smelt like vodka, maybe because I don't drink and have just had a baby but this put me off. After a few days I opened it again and didn't get the smell so used it.

First used - Prior to first use I had a few newly developed dry patches (baby 4-5 weeks ago) others that had moisturized the dry patches well had felt heavy everywhere else. This seemed to work well in both areas, dry patches were treated but remained light over the normal skin. Initially It was slightly sticky after applying. My skin felt fresher in the morning.

Continued use - I like the consistancy. I don't like anything to feel heavy on my face but this as just enough to feel like its doing the job without always being aware of it. A little goes along way but it still feels like a treat to be using it. Only thing I didn't like was the initial stickyness.

Preference - I tend to be a bit random about moisturizer sometimes use it sometimes not, this would make me use it slightly more often and make me feel pampered by using it. I would buy it again because I would use it ad hoc but I don't feel I could justify the price to use it daily.

I would recommend it over the others I have tried but it would be recommended as a pamper product rather than a day to day. I would happily recommend to other mums, work friends and family.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

First impressions were good. Nice clean, simple, classy packaging - in line with rest of Clinique range. Texture felt nice and creamy - maybe a tad on the lotiony side. Possibly I like to have slightly firmer textured night cream as to me it feels more heavy duty. I was (and still am) a little confused by the instructions, especially as a non-Clinique user normally. It says use after your usual 3 step routine, which on the Clinique website is cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise. So am I meant to use this as an additional radiance moisturiser on top of my normal night moisturiser - or just after cleansing and toning, instead of my normal moisturiser? So....not sure I've been testing it 100% right. But first time it felt a bit greasy in the morning, but since then its been fine (rarely its felt dry in the morning).

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I have noticed that my skin has been a bit more plump in the morning with some of the finer lines reduced - that's the best thing about it. However, I would say that this difference doesn't seem to carry through throughout the day. But i really like the effect first thing in the morning and I'd be tempted to try some of the other items in the range for day wear to see if I could extend the effect (would selflessly put myself forward as a guinea pig tester should Clinique wish to offer me any goodies?!!!)

On the negative I generally prefer a scented moisturiser as it feels more luxurious to me. And I prefer it a little thicker for the same reason. Although I think its a little on lotiony side, my skin did feel moisturised in the morning - which it doesn't usually with lotion - so it is good stuff and doing the job.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I usually buy No 7 but sometimes buy L'Oreal or Olay (if its a good deal) - not really got one that I swear by. I do love Clarins and buy that if finances can afford - or ask for it for Christmas. I would definitely consider using it on a regular basis - although it'd probably be like Clarins for me. Not an absolute must-have unless finances allow. But I would certainly ask for it for Christmas or birthdays - and other items in the range.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, absolutely. Its rare that something is noticeably different, even if its a small-ish, transient effect - its worth spreading the news.

BTW....I think it would be helpful for other MNs to know our ages - I'm soon to be 40. So thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to test this - really made my pruney face smile (giving me yet more fine lines no doubt)!

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

First impression was Oooo, fancy. Grin The texture was lovely and soft and not at all greasy feeling. My skin felt nice and smooth straight away but I don't use anything but soap so any moisturizer would make it feel nicer.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

My skin has been really good these last few weeks. Definitely feels softer and to me it looks better. But no-one has said anything so I can only assume I still look as rough as a badgers bottom. Woe. No, I do think it is noticably better but I just dont have complimentary family and friends. Must buy new ones.
I don't like that I keep rubbing my face/eyes so then it gets in my eyes and hurts! It hurts them for HOURS afterwards. I know it's meant to be kept away from the eye area but I didn't expect it to be so irritating to my eyes.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I didn't use anything else at all before. I'm undecided if I'll keep using it when the pot runs out. Need to use it for longer to see if it really has made a difference of if it's just been luck that I've been going through a good skin phase. If it's the cream doing it then I'll definitely keep using it.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not? Possibly. Still got to see how it pans out after a lot more use. But I do like it a lot so far so if asked I'd definitely praise it a lot.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

It looked like a normal high standard Clinique product, the packaging was as expected, clean and fresh looking - Instantly recognisable. When I opened the pot it smelled lovely and fresh, not over powering or strong smelling, the cream was thick to the touch but smothed into my skin beautifully.
When I first started to use it I was a little worried as I have oily + dry skin and usually it gets very spotty when I put a new product on it but this did not make my skin feel cloggy nor did it bring me out in spots or have any reaction phew! On day 4 of using the cream each night I noticed that a few spots of dry skin had cleared up and actually the skin around my eyes was looking a lot better than usual!

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

After having used it for the last 9 days I can say that my skin feels a lot more nourished than before, my husband even commented on how soft my skin was and how my eyes looked a lot more awake thanks babe. I would say the best thing about it is that it is nice and light but actually makes a great deal of difference to my skin. I cant say there is anything I dislike about it.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I wasn't using a night cream previous to this but would definitely continue to use it and in fact intend on investing in some for when the tester has run out because of the results I have already seen!

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I have already been shouting about this cream from the rooftops, I am only 23 so have never really thought about this kind of thing but actually it would make sense to start using a decent cream sooner rather than later, a preventative rather than a fix! I have recommended this to my mother who is a regular Clinique user and to my Aunties who use other products!

Thanks!

1) What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

Really delighted that this moisturizer isn't perfumed. As someone who suffers from sensitive skin, there's nothing worse than opening a lovely new product only for it to be really heavily scented and then knowing I'll spend two miserable days scratching at my chops if I apply it. The moisturizer feels quite light compared to other night creams but is heavy enough to properly hydrate my skin without leaving an awful greasy film over my face. The effects were noticeable the morning after first use: skin looked brighter and felt softer and pores seemed less visable.

2) Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?
I'm still pleased with the results. It hasn't turned me into a supermodel but I'm definitely looking less haggard! I'm particularly happy that my pores appeared reduced. I can't say there's anything I don't like about the product.

3) Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?
Absolutely. I was previously using Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream but it's very heavy and greasy (even the following morning) compared to the Clinique product. I suspect that the Clinique Moisturizer may be outside of my budget so it's unlikely that I'll use it on a regular basis unless I receive it as a gift or it's on offer. Otherwise, yes, I would use it nightly!

4) If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I would definitely recommend to friends, as it's great for those with sensitive skin.

Have been using it for a few days now, not always at night as I don't always cleanse properly at bedtime Blush

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

It looks lovely and posh, nice jar. Texture was ok, I prefer creams with a bit more 'slip' to them ideally though, it was a bit like a balm texture IMHO. Skin - was surprised to see that I can tell a difference, feels silkier and smoother, and kind of more even, looks a bit like I have put a decent primer on. It felt like it wouldn't be rich enough, I have very dry skin, but it was fine. Not greasy feeling at all. Feel like ideally it should have a serum or facial oil underneath though for extra woomph

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I like it more each day at the moment, am looking forward to seeing if there is any more improvement after a longer time using it. I know all Clinique stuff is unperfumed, but it would have been nice to have a lovely smell.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I do prefer it, and I would use/buy again if it was Bonus Time, I like other Clinique products already but some are a little at the top end of budget.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend it. Not quite as comforting feeling on the skin as my other Clinique night cream though, Super Rescue very dry-dry.

really liked the feel of the moisturiser, felt light and went on to the skin very nicely, my skin felt lovely when I had put it on without feeling greasy. The packaging is nice and I liked the lack of fragrance

  2. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?
I like the fact the it goes onto the skin easily and is absorbed well. I felt that my skin looked and felt good after using it. I also liked that I could get nto bed wthut looking and smelling like I had a night cream on. This test has been over the time of turning on the heating which often leads to my skin getting very dry and I have not noticed any dryness whilst using this

  3. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why? yes, I will try to continue to use it, price would be the only barrier to me not doing so

Yes as it works well and is a lovely product

1) What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?
First impressions were of how cold the cream was! I know it sounds silly but it was in the same place that my normal cream is and it was a lot colder on my face than my normal cream is - which might be quite nice in the summer but on a chilly November night it's not a good thing.

It rubbed in OK, not too thick or thin, it just left my face feeling cold. Over the next couple of mornings I did notice that my skin looked less greasy in the morning and this has continued.

I just opened up the box and started using it as a moisturiser (it was late, I was tired, sorry) - it wasn't until I came to fill in this form and looked at the packaging again that I read the instructions that I discovered that you were supposed to use it over your normal moisturiser. I'll now try that and see if it makes a difference. However as I don't use Clinique moisturiser (have in the past but it made my skin go spotty) I wonder how it will react with my normal moisturiser.

I thought the jar was nice - but that the chrome coloured plastic lid looked tacky.

2) Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

  • It's still a shock on my face for it to be so cold!

  • Best thing so far is that it has made my face less greasy during the day, so I'm hoping that continues, will be interesting to give it a few more weeks and see if there is any difference as we move into winter, with central heating on and cold weather outside. And my cheeks (usually not too greasy) feel quite velvety soft, different from normal but quite nice.

  • I don't like the fact it marks my pillows and makes them look greasy. I put it on at the same time I would have put my normal moisturiser on and I've never had a problem before, which suggests that this is either greasier and/or takes longer to sink in.

3) Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?
I might. I would certainly consider it but it would partly come back to price and the fact that I have to use another moisturiser as well - if you're making something like this then it needs to be a one step moisturiser, not one that piggybacks on something else. The name is misleading as it makes you think that it will be a moisturiser - it needs to be called something so that you can see that it is an additional product - e.g. a 'turnaround night supplement'.

It will be interesting to use up the pot and then stop using it to see how much difference there is in my skin afterwards - I think that will be the real test that makes me decide whether or not it is worth it - so if after using it for several months and being really used to it my skin doesn't change then I probably wouldn't bother. But if it soon goes downhill and back to being spotty and greasy and flaky then I would.

4) If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?
I'm not sure how often it would come up in conversation - not aware of having any conversations about creams in recent years (other than with my mother who's trying to convert me to the cream that she has been using - with fantastic results - for approximately 60 years but that I have tried and makes my face go spotty).

I'd tell people that it was worth trying a go at the counter - maybe needing to go and try it for a few days on the go as it's not a one day wonder. However it definitely seems to have something in it as my skin is definitely changing!

I liked the feel of the cream and how it went onto my skin, I don't like scented products so this was great.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I think it is improving the texture of my skin and I like that it didn't feel greasy in the morning.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I do like the cream but I couldn't justify the price tag ( it is almost as much as I would spend on our family's weekly shop)

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I'd be suprised if any of my friends could afford this cream and wouldn't recommend it for this reason.

Nice packaging. I like the fact that it it odourless. When I put it on my face, it felt very smooth, and seemed to sink in and not sit on the surface of my skin. My skin felt less oily, as I have the 'T' bar oil pattern.

  2. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?
I have lines on my forehead, and I have found them less apparent than before, my pores look smaller, as they were larger. The thing I like about it, is that a little goes a long way. My skin feels more silkier to the touch, less rough and oily. The thing that would stop me from buying it, is the price. I find it hard to justify paying that much. I would feel too guilty and think how many nappies I could buy with it! Smile

  3. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why? I apply some Vaseline skin moisturiser each morning before I rush out to work, just take the dry feeling from my skin. I will continue to use this. As mentioned the above the price is the main sticking point for me.

  4. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not? I would recommend it. The price is a personal choice and maybe some of my friends wouldn't mind paying that. If my numbers came up in the lottery I would buy it on a regular basis. I think it is a luxury item and at the high end price wise for moisturizers.

1) What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?
I really liked the packaging ? it looked much more expensive than my normal moisturizer. The texture was soft and creamy without feeling greasy. My skin felt softer and smoother almost straight away.

2) Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?
I loved it ? my skin definitely looked brighter and smoother, and fine lines were less noticeable. The best thing: the way it improved the appearance of my skin. The only thing I wasn?t so keen on was the price, as it?s far more than I?d normally spend on a skin care product.

3) Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?
Yes, my old moisturiser sometimes made my skin feel quite tight (I have very dry skin) so this was a definite improvement. I hadn?t used a night cream before as I was slightly put off by the idea that they were rather heavy and greasy, but this wasn?t the case at all so I?d definitely consider using one on a regular basis. I?m not sure I could justify spending as much as this moisturizer costs, however.

4) If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend it as it?s a great product, although am not sure it would ever come up in conversation. I would also mention the price, however, as I?m sure it would put some of my friends off.
