With reference to this thead do let us know who you'd like to try.

As we said, we'll consult more on people who approach us and in that spirit we should let you know that we're planning to have Tana Ramsay on next Monday lunchtime... (she's promoting her new book) so if anyone has any Scheherazade-type feelings shout now!

zippitippitoes · 07/10/2008 11:43

lol are you joking about ntana ramsay

JustineMumsnet · 07/10/2008 11:44

No - I think we should challenge her on Nestle (politely of course) don't you?

Carmenere · 07/10/2008 11:44

Um I have Scheherazade-type feelings about TR. But in the interests of mn I will just stay away.

Flamebat · 07/10/2008 11:44

lmao - did you see the thread about the Ramsays prostituting themselves? (assuming that that was a serious interview taking place )

Stephenie Meyer - I know she won't, but there are a very dedicated bunch of fans that need to know what the hell she was thinking with "Renesmee"

(Any decisions on the baby show?)

Carmenere · 07/10/2008 11:45

Just make sure someone asks TR about her sexually transmitted cooking ability?

Geraldine McCaughrean
Malorie Blackman
Michael Rosen

VeniVidiVickiQV · 07/10/2008 11:53

Oh yes, I'd like to call Davina to account come on.

Boris Johnson?

ahundredtimes · 07/10/2008 11:56

yes Jamie Oliver and all those children's authors that everyone said.
And Posy Simmonds because some of her older cartoons are pure Mumsnet and I want to ask her how come she draws toddlers better than anybody in the world despite not having kids of her own.

FabioCatello · 07/10/2008 11:58

Me and cod'll do an Ask Us Anything.
We will tell the whole truth m'lud, and absolutely NOT fib like celebrity liar Jeffrey Archer bitches.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 07/10/2008 12:00

But I heart J O

Cappuccino · 07/10/2008 12:00

I actually would like to talk to Tana Ramsay because apparently she makes good lamb burgers. I do believe she has found out some things about cooking for kids.

but I think that people will kill her

and if it's food we're talking about, someone to talk about healthy eating for adults and for children - we have so many threads about this.

and I would far rather talk to Lesley Waters or Jill Dupleix since they actually are women chefs themselves

we are always talking about housework, so perhaps someone who can help us prioritise? Kim and Aggie? or someone like that (not Anthea, we'll kill her too) - I'm sure the fly threads would be out in force and cod would be lurking, holding her e-cloth, and pretending not to care

also a life coach

Alvin Hall - no-one slagged him off, because he was useful to us. Ditto Tanya Byron.

I think I'd like to see more experts than stars

no more men, because morningpaper is just going to get beyond herself

And Victoria Wood. With JW.

Libra1975 · 07/10/2008 12:03

John Barrowman. But only if the webchats can include webcam

Cappuccino · 07/10/2008 12:04

yes but what would we ask them?

I do think that the reason it descended into namecalling last night was because people ran out of questions

the thing with authors is that only a percentage of us will have read the books

zippitippitoes · 07/10/2008 12:04

i only said are you joking for tana ramsay because she has already been targetted on mn
