Facebook Live about The Clever Guts Diet with Dr Michael Mosley, Wednesday 24 May, 1pm

First there was The Fast Diet, then the 8-week Blood Sugar Diet and now Michael Mosley brings us The Clever Guts Diet. Tomorrow (Wednesday 24 May) at 1pm we’ll be on air for a Facebook live with Dr Mosley as he talks us through this new diet that aims to ‘revolutionise the body from inside out’.

Anyone who has ever suffered from gut-related syndromes (IBS, bloating, leaky gut) should read this groundbreaking book which shows how modern day diet has wiped out many good gut bacteria, leading to a plague of allergies, food intolerances and obesity. The clever guts diet sets out to change this by showing you what you can do to restore and maintain a healthy gut biome.

During theFacebook livewe'll be asking Michael talk us through some food standard food products and how they can affect the microbiome of your gut. Is this a new thing? Putting these chats on FB in video form? I don't want to watch a 20-minute video, I want to skim read the answers to the posts.

I wd like the answers too! I searched for the transcript/video using google. Didn't find anything apart from adverts to buy Mosley's book and invitations to join Facebook

I get the impression we were only invited to pose questions just to get us interested in watching the broadcast... which is essentially a 20 minute advert for his book...

We’re still honing our new format and realise that some of the questions posed here were more suitable to a webchat than a Facebook live. In future, if we start a thread about the FB Live, we’ll ask guests if they’re happy to do a short Q&A on the thread as well, to ensure we cover all bases.

We’ve been in touch with Michael this morning and he’s kindly agreed to do that, so we’ll be sending 10 questions to him later today and get the answers up on the thread over the next couple of weeks.

As this is a new format, there’s bound to be some glitches until we get it exactly right, so please do share your feedback.

I think the facebook link is a good idea, a very interesting talk.
