On the week that TV's most hot-contested baking challenge reaches its climax, we're thrilled that Paul Hollywood is returning to Mumsnet Towers. Paul last joined us back in February 2013 when he gave us his tips on bread-making. This Friday between 10 and 11am he will be on hand to help out with all your baking conundrums and of course give us the inside story on this year's GBBO.

Paul's latest book Paul Hollywood's British Baking is published this week and everyone who joins the webchat will be entered into a draw to win a SIGNED copy. If you're unable to join Paul on Friday morning, post a question in advance on this thread.

It doesn't say twitter in the title HQ....

And he's a book out you say? I wonder why he didn't mention it?

FoxSticks · 10/10/2014 15:39

I reported Rachel's post and asked if the Twitter thing was separate. Not sure if it's allowed to report mnhq posts or not but I figured it would be nice for us non twitters to know.

Nice of you to illustrate the breast test for us on your post Elizabeth!

Blush You're right. There are 2 signed copies of the book up for grabs. If you can all hold out until Monday we'll draw a name from the Mumsnet hat once we're back in the office. Sorry for not doing on Friday - we were all a bit beside ourselves with Paul Hollywood and Alan Titchmarsh gracing the Mumsnet (and Gransnet) offices in the same day.

Ooh, Paul says I should give a Normandy apple tart a go with some of our lovely apples from the garden.
(Just got in after a weekend away with my dd and so a chance to catch up with Friday's web-chat)

Feeling inspired now! And if I can be inspired to bake anyone can Grin

JugglingFromHereToThere · 12/10/2014 22:31

Found a great recipe for it on the good food website with calvados and served with clotted cream - can't be bad Smile
And does look very pretty. Hope it's easy. Already planning on ways of cheating!
