We're very happy that Justin Fletcher is joining us again for a live webchat on Friday lunchtime between 12 and 1 pm. Justin needs no introduction to mumsnetters, who enjoyed a fab webchat with Mr Tumble back in April. Justin is here in his role as a Patron of Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK who have been supported by Cadbury since 2009. This year through the launch of Wishes Cadbury will donate 10% of all profits from the product to Make-A-Wish. Put the date in your diary for Friday midday and if you can't make it, post a question in advance to this thread.

@sleepychunky

Hi Justin, do you watch Strictly Come Dancing and who do you want to win? I would love to see Mr Tumble as a contestant on next year's show Xmas Grin

My money's on Matt Baker - I was having a chat with him at the Children's Baftas two weeks ago.

I also met Kara at the Make A Wish summer ball at Blenheim Palace, who is delightful. They are both lovely - good luck to them both!

Are you in Bristol or Bath anytime soon Sir Justin "Tumble" Fletcher??

spikemomma · 17/12/2010 12:21

Jusin,

Do you have any brothers and sisters? Apparantly this is THE most important question ever... according to my ds!

We really enjoy your programmes. A Justin day is a good day, as what ever you do, my children sit glued to the tele and enjoy every minute of it. So thank you!

Yes, I have three sisters and one brother.

sleepychunky · 17/12/2010 12:22

[faints as realises Justin answered my question] I want Matt to win too, but have also met Kara and agree that she is an absolute poppet.
That's my first ever webchat question answered - Justin, thank you and happy Christmas!

Hello Justin.

Any chance of doing panto in Leicester..? Grin

We think you're fab in this household. DS1 has speech issues and watching Something Special and doing Makaton has helped him a lot.

I agree with victoriascrumptious as well, you are sexy. Grin

faverolles · 17/12/2010 12:25

I haven't got a question, but my children are all massive fans, and just want to say Hello!
(my youngest used to tell everyone he was called Justin, complete with signs.)

JustinFletcher · 17/12/2010 12:27

@brookeslay

Hi Justin

DS sends a big hug we are big fans in this house !!.

Would you to do a big show or a tour. Also love to see Nana Knickerbocker in Panto.

Saw you are starring as John Jester in Reading this Year with Jane from Rainbow !

My question how is the Panto going and are people shouting Mr.Tumble at you.

p.s can you wave (online of course) to my son ?

Yes, most performances when I run on stage, a few children shout out, "It's Mr Tumble!" and I'm giving your son a big wave right now.
NoahAndTheWhale · 17/12/2010 12:27

Hello :)

I love it that you are Shaun the Sheep's voice Grin.

And just think you are all round brilliant :)

I would also love Packed Lunch Pete to get to eat his packed lunch just once....

DoolallySally · 17/12/2010 12:27

Personally I would LOVE to see some out takes from any of your tv programmes - I bet they would be hysterical! Have you ever laughed so much that you couldn't stop laughing so filming had to stop? Chuckling at the thought of it...Xmas Grin

sethstarofbethlehemsmum · 17/12/2010 12:28

keep up the good work Justin, but please don't work too hard and burn yourself out by the time you are 45 [motherly concern emoticon]. Do make sure you eat properly, sleep properly and take some time to relax, won't you?

JustinFletcher · 17/12/2010 12:29

I've noticed there's a lot of lovely comments about Cliff Tumble. If you'd like to know how I came up with the character, it was a little homage to my dad, who wrote a song for Cliff Richard for the Eurovision song contest, in the 70s, with his writing partner Doug Flett.

The song was called 'Power to all our friends', and it came second and when Cliff Tumble appears, he usually sings that song, so it's a just a little thumbs up to my Dad's song!

snugglejunkie · 17/12/2010 12:29

Hello Justin!

My DS is just 13months old & can do 4 signs:
Milk
Food
Bath
Mr Tumble
Grin

Needless to say he I loves your programmes.

So I wondered - do you get recognised a lot when you are out & about? How do you react if someone comes up to you?

applecrumbleandcream · 17/12/2010 12:32

Hi Justin, more fans here!! I just wondered how you became involved to be Patron of the Make A Wish Foundation and what your role involves.

busymum1983 · 17/12/2010 12:33

What a fantastic performance on Wednesday, both DS were mesmerised, and my 19 month old, physically shook with ecitement when you walked and stood right next to him, he even stopped signing Mr Tumble, and was soundless! Thankyou for all your work, my 3 year old has various special needs, and with your 'tuition' has managed to start to communicate, and is so much happier, and he and his brother can get that across.
You seem to truly enjoy what you do, and wonder if there's anyway my sons could get a signed photo of you/mr tumble/Farmer Dung (ok thats for the OH too)

Ooh, Question, What inspired you to become a clown?

DoolallySally · 17/12/2010 12:33

Do u have a significant other Justin? I'm sure there are lots of fans out there desperate to know the answer! Xmas Wink

JustinFletcher · 17/12/2010 12:33

@applecrumbleandcream

Hi Justin, more fans here!! I just wondered how you became involved to be Patron of the Make A Wish Foundation and what your role involves.

I'm very proud to be here today representing Make-A-Wish. I've been a patron of Make-A-Wish, and involved in their wish granting for years. If anyone wants to ask me any questions about Make-A-Wish - ask away!

A child requested a wish to meet Mr Tumble through Make-A-Wish, and they contacted me and I happily went to visit to visit the child, and ever since that first wish several years ago, I've built up a very close relationship with the charity, and I am now honoured to be a patron and have Make-A-Wish as my main charity. The work they do is incredible.
