Found out today that Chris Packham and Jenny Packham are siblings, as are Clare Balding and Gordon Ramsey. Learn something every day!

Did anyone else see the BBC documentary featuring The Weather Girls who were trying to piece together their complicated family tree?
They had the Snow branch of the family, siblings Dan Snow and Brittany Snow, and their mum Snow White.
Then everyone’s favourite uncle Windy Miller, amazingly he still lives in Camberwick Green.
Of course who could forget aunt Crystal Gayle and cousin Stormzy who are always up for a Karaoke session.
Sadly missed grandpa John Thaw.
They were especially thrilled to discover through their research, a royal connection through Raine Spencer who is a step relative “ on the posh side of the family”

Windy Miller is also distantly related to Donald Trump and Frank Bough.

Very few are aware that, Gareth Malone is the son of, sweet Molly Malone... and the reason he is so musical is that he took up singing so he did not have to keep singing the same old dirge each day!

Also Harry Potter is the son of Keith Brymer Jones... he had to change his name as it was too long for the film credits and out of respect for this father chose his trade name... (And I went to school with his granny, Marcia but that is another story altogether!).

you have reminded me of the little known fact that the Teletubbies were created by a descendent of Edgar Allan Poe.

Teletubby Po was named directly in his honour. Lala was inspired a partial anagram of the Allan part. Dipsy was an affectionate contraction of dipsomaniac which reflected Poe's family history of alcoholism and his own alcohol and opiate abuse. Tinky-Winky was a reference to his poem The Bells
(How they tinkle, tinkle, tinkle) and winky reflected the sly wink to the poem.

My post was badly worded as I meant a Scottish accent rather than Glasgow (which agreed, he does not have). However since I posted last night I’ve heard a clip of him talking and his accent is definitely not as strong as I was remembering it to be 😆

Still, I’ve never believed his sister is Clare Balding 🤷‍♀️

He is originally from Scotland but moved away when very young, he has an English accent, I doubt there's a Scot in the world who would agree Gordon has a Scottish accent.

Nick Knowles off the TV show where they come to make over and wreck your house in 2 days, if you have been through some kind of trauma, is the cousin of Beyonce (Knowles). This is why her and Solange had a bust up in the lift because he popped over to the USA to rearrange queen B's kitchen cupboards to cheer her up when she had a bad review.
