An outbreak of Covid-19 has occurred for the Playmobil people in our house...

… and so over the next few days I'll be bringing you some scenes of a Playmobil Pandemic.

People are allowed out for exercise, but must practise social distancing. Janice and Preston are both out for a run but are making sure they don't get too close.

Brandy the cat is my favourite. That's exactly what would happen in this household!

openup I just had to do the hula hooping, as my sister really did put her back out hula hooping about a year and a half ago!

Delighted to see The Royals of Playmoland getting on with it and getting their hands dirty

I notice no one is overweight even after all these weeks of lockdown

Prince Jeremiah has a bit of a paunch on him (but he was photographed front on, so nobody noticed!). But generally they eat a healthy diet most of the time I Playmoland and are keeping fit.

Oh I guess he is probably quite vain

We could all learn something from the Playmoland residents (well I could I wish I enjoyed exercise as much as they obviously do)

Today the people of Playmoland are commemorating VP day. It marks the anniversary of the eradicating of the last great pandemic to affect Playmoland 100 years ago.

Marta, Matthias and the boys are keeping two minutes' silence on their doorstep.

They have decorated their house with bunting, and in the afternoon they enjoy a socially distanced tea party on their doorstep.

Arkley, Angela and family are also enjoying a doorstep tea party.

As are their next door neighbours Geraint, Gwyneth, Gwenllian and Gethin. They have also put up bunting and a couple of Playmoland flags.

The neighbours wave to each other, but don't get too close.

In the evening Marta and Matthias raise a glass of green wine, as they think of those who lost their lives during the last pandemic, and those who are keeping the country going at the moment.

Arkley, Angela, Geraint and Gwyneth also raise a toast.

Later in the evening, King Athelstan and Queen Edith give a joint address to the nation.

Playmoland looks like such a lovely place to live
