An outbreak of Covid-19 has occurred for the Playmobil people in our house...

… and so over the next few days I'll be bringing you some scenes of a Playmobil Pandemic.

People are allowed out for exercise, but must practise social distancing. Janice and Preston are both out for a run but are making sure they don't get too close.

Is the crime rate high on Playmoland ?

The crime rate isn't particularly high. But there are always a few opportunists out there, and the Playmo police are quite vigilant.

Elise's hair has got a bit long, and all the hair salons are shut due to Covid-19. Evan has said he will have a go at cutting her hair.

Evan is quite pleased with the result!

Elise has a look in the mirror. "You've done a great job!" she says.

The ice cream café is open but only for takeaway ices and drinks. Customers are standing well apart from each other. Jackie has taken Jessica and Jordan for an ice cream.

Huw and Hywel are buying ice cream too.

Stuart is buying cups of tea for his wife Caroline and himself. Usually they would sit at a table and use china cups, but now Stuart is given takeaway cups of tea.

Playmo home haircuts! Amazing!

I gave my boys home haircuts for the first time yesterday. Amazingly both of them are still talking to me. I'm now thinking though that just swapping for a different plastic haircut would have been preferable!

This is brilliant, I'm sitting here pretty stressed due to complicated life situations, just what I needed to make me smile, loved the police scene in particular!

Has anyone in Playmoland got any horrible grey roots coming through because they can’t get them covered up by clever hairdressers?

Unfortunately, Playmobil don't do any hair with grey roots, but you've just given me an idea for something else, @petalpower !

Elise was lucky. My "lockdown" cut has been a bit of a disaster. One side is decidedly shorter than the other - although it looks fine if my head is tilted to one side

Oh God, yes if there is anyone in Playmoland who can fix my roots for me, I'll be there!!!
