… and so over the next few days I'll be bringing you some scenes of a Playmobil Pandemic.

People are allowed out for exercise, but must practise social distancing. Janice and Preston are both out for a run but are making sure they don't get too close.

These are brilliant! Thank you so much for doing them.

I can actually see them being used as an aid to teach kids what's happening in different places. But I'm boring like that....

SoMuchToBits · 17/04/2020 22:45

Thank you again everyone, see you tomorrow with more scenes.

Hope you had a good rest SoMuch and yesterday at work wasn’t too awful under the circumstances.

SoMuchToBits · 18/04/2020 08:48

Thank you petal, I've had a good night's sleep and now have 3 days off, hooray!

Today at Lowbeach-on-Sea Molly and Melissa take their dog Spot for a walk. They stay well away from the water and keep Spot on the lead to be safe.

Today there is a press conference, and Prime Minister Norman the Foreman is being interviewed by Asa Rogers of the PBC. Norman is social distancing, so he has borrowed Bossy Ross's megaphone so he doesn't have to get too close to the interviewer and cameraman. But don't worry, the megaphone has been sanitised!

Wish our Downing St Coronavirus Briefings were conducted like that, with a megaphone! 😆😆😆

CatkinToadflax · 18/04/2020 09:25

Every press conference should have a portaloo in the background! Grin

petalpower · 18/04/2020 09:25

I had a feeling Jack Jellyhead and his pesky chums would be back - good work Michael the beach policeman!

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 18/04/2020 09:43

Completely thrilled by how you have even done the TV in the speech watching scene. Brava!

LittleRa · 18/04/2020 09:45

Love the playmobil threads, thank you OP.

Anyway, the answers to a couple of questions from yesterday.

@mycurtaingell no I don't think I know you - but having spent 4 years living in Wales in the past, and having a sister who lives in Wales (Neither of us are from there) I know a lot of Welsh names! Grin

Storage...
When ds was younger he had a decent sized playroom. What we did then was leave the larger buildings assembled, on the floor, so they could be played with instantly. All the other bits we stored in large plastic boxes according to theme, so we had a police box, a fire box, a cargo harbour box etc.

Now we live in a smaller house, I am storing all the Playmo in the summer house. It is still boxed according to theme, but the buildings are all stored in pieces, so if I do a Playmo thread I have to assemble the buildings I need first.

Also, what I have found useful is in each box I put all the large pieces in, then store the figures for that theme in a plastic food bag, and all the smaller accessories in another one. This stops all the small pieces from sinking to the bottom of the box, so you don't have to tip the entire lot out when you want to find just a couple of figures, or just a roast chicken for example!

Oh dear I’ve had a deletion...I feel suitably chastised! Grin Sorry for fighting on your thread @Somuch, I’ve put all the buns away. Wink

I very much like King Athelstan. He looks wise and strong with the constitution of a King. Which is lucky, since he is one!

SoMuchToBits · 18/04/2020 10:05

Buns are fine, so long as nobody throws them!

Lordy, I read that as 'Bums are fine' !! 😲😆

CatkinToadflax · 18/04/2020 10:36

Have Norman the Foreman and his Cabinet been stockpiling loo rolls for the portaloo? I'd like to think that it's well stocked?

SoMuchToBits · 18/04/2020 10:39

Nobody has been stockpiling in Playmoland apart from maybe Jack Jellyhead and chums they all buy just enough for what they need, including Norman.

SoMuchToBits I’m wondering as many living in Playmoland are now famous have they been asked to take part in the One World: Together At Home concert tomorrow?

Obviously you probably won’t be able to give away too many details
