Its a shame we can't hotwire the cars and switch them around.

OlaEliza · 27/03/2020 13:41

What does C do?

Hopefully someone gets 1/2 when B goes shopping.

HelloBambinos · 27/03/2020 17:25

I'm interested to know what c does.. Is there a Mr c as it always seems C is the one doing school runs and working etc.. Sorry if this has been discussed I'm writing an essay due in Monday so my mind is all neurological conditions.. What day is it? HahahahaHELP

originalcatlady · 27/03/2020 17:53

C works in care. She doesn't seem to have her DC very often- she's never here. There's no Mr C.

Althoooouuuggghhh.....

A and C's feud may continue to entertain us. He's just arranging a row of post it's across his front door and window...assuming for her return. She never takes the bait though.

Is there something similar to A4 size post its. If we got A some of them we would all know what message he is writing.

Sissymate2 · 28/03/2020 05:26

@purplecorkheart
Yes, there are...good thinking! My husband used to use them the large sheet post it notes for presentations and for note taking instead of writing on a white board. They were huge and fit on an easel Grin
When he was practicing his presentations he would have the sheets stuck all over the walls in the lounge or breakfast room. One time the bottom of a post it sheet caught on fire when the wind blew it toward the stove when I was making breakfast 🤣....fortunately since i was standing right there i was able to extinguish it quickly. As none of the actual writing was burnt, he still took the post it to the presentation! The female VP of the company was stunned when she saw it...he didn't care what she thought because he didn't think too highly of the company.....
I'm STILL lol-ing every time I think about it...the page looked like one of those fake treasure maps with the edges burnt all around to make it appear to be old....my husband, the pirate and his fake treasure map🏴‍☠️

I'm guessing C is fed up of not being able to park because B parks like a twat, so she's resorting to X and will claim key worker status as a reason to get away with it.

OlaEliza · 29/03/2020 10:01

How often does B normally go shopping? If they haven't got a big freezer they might need to go out sooner than later.

Are your shops in walking distance?

CharmingB · 30/03/2020 08:46

Not sure about where you are OP but our local council has removed all parking restrictions at the moment so C would legitimately be able to park in X for now.

Morally, taking a disabled space when you don't need one, is a different matter...

originalcatlady · 01/04/2020 20:01

So. C got home about half an hour ago, the first time in days she's been back before 10. She's parked in X and is still there blaring her music (she does this whatever time she comes home, you can hear the words over your TV). A has been out three times now, knocking on her window, tried her door, and indicated for her to wind her window down. She's just completely ignoring him.

LovePoppy · 01/04/2020 20:10

Wow

shouldhavecalleditoatabix · 01/04/2020 20:16

C sounds like a bit of a bellend...

Sissymate2 · 01/04/2020 21:22

@originalcatlady.
Mr.A keeps knocking on Cs car window and she just sits there and ignores him!?....This cannot be happening.....Are you sure you aren't just in some isolation delusion at the moment and imagining this scenario?
But, alas I must believe it is 100% true as you warned us weeks ago that you NEVER knew what was going to happen on AS. 🤣🤣🤣🤣✊✊✊🚗🚘🚙.
I would love to know where C gets her resolve to ignore the knocking though. I want to be able to have that ability. It would come in quite handy when someone says something idiotic so I could just ignore them.....but, noooo, I have to always answer back. I want to be able to ignore them like C!!!!
Keep posting @originalcatlady
You are the highlight of my day! Hope you and your family are all holding up wellFlowers

I do believe you have the makings of a very entertaining book! It could be in the humour category or in the Sociology category📔📕📗📘📙📚📖.

Tandia · 01/04/2020 21:40

Did she eventually leave the car? Did he manage to accost her? Is she still in X? Has B been in 1/2 all week? So many questions!! I've missed alphabet street!

originalcatlady · 01/04/2020 21:49

Hahahaha yes she is in X. She sat playing music for about 40 mins - pretty standard. A didn't manage to catch her - he struggles to walk so he wouldn't get out quick enough once she left the car.
B is in 1/2. No one else has moved apart from the odd shopping trip. Everyone is where they belong.

OP posts:
Forflipssake2 · 01/04/2020 23:08

@originalcatlady C is just sat in her car playing loud music??

Raindancer411 · 02/04/2020 03:34

Why doesn't A report her for parking in X? (It's the disabled bay, isn't it? I losing track lol)

HelloBambinos · 02/04/2020 06:18

Wow c works in care? Hmm so she helps elderly? That sort of care? Because if so that's a bit ironic.. As a disabled person myself I officially brand her as a cockwomble. Has B left at all? Or is she sending Mr B out to the shops? Also how are you doing at the moment op? Is the lockdown impacting your family much?

originalcatlady · 02/04/2020 10:40

I don't think A would know how to do that but it has been reported.
She always sits in her car playing music at night 🤷‍♀️

I've had my income massively reduced but we'll manage. Home schooling my two but trying to keep spirits up, making the most of time together and getting jobs done. So nothing that no one else isn't feeling. Thank you.

@originalcatlady
Just wondering how the clapping for the NHS is going on AS?
Everybody participating?
Nobody participating?
Those participating trying to shame those who aren't participating?
It would be a good time for everyone on AS to get a good look at each other......I can only imagine that C would be locked in her car listening to music instead. Mrs B would be saying "this is ridiculous ", the K's wouldn't be out front because they were having a mass of friends over for a back garden bbq, Poor Mr.A would have his post it notes out ready to get down to business and of course originalcatlady would still be peeping through the blinds so she could report all the details back to us. Oh and the van man would be telling Mrs B that it's fine 'cause they aren't touching.
There have been lots of mixed reviews on other threads....the best I've heard is that although the NHS workers appreciate the thought they would have liked it much better if all the clapping and fireworks hadn't awoken them from their hard earned sleep.
God Bless the NHS workers and all the other essential workers. Praying that they will have a hedge of protection around them.

originalcatlady · 04/04/2020 21:42

Well, oddly, Mrs B is the only one participating, very enthusiastically!
