I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

This is such a shock. I have read her posts many times, she is one of the few posters that I recognise on here. Are you able to say what happened to her?

It was meningitis and very very quick according to what her DH posted on FB.

She is the poster who was so excited to buy a little boat last year, I think.

Very sadly, yes it is true.
It was very very quick, of meningitis.

Yes, she has a young daughter.

She was a friend to me in really bad times. I treasure her and this is such a loss.

She wouldn't know me but I was actually thinking about her last night, I thought she'd gone too in all the kerfuffle recently. Or name changed Her bonkers neighbour and the holiday she slept on the balcony - funny and down to earth.
I was already missing her.
