MNHQ here: Mumsnet's response to government consultation on publishing parental leave

Hello

With huge thanks to all the MNers who struggled through a rather waffly survey, we're pleased to publish our response to the government's consultation on measures to encourage employers to be more transparent about their family leave and pay policies, and about their approach to flexible working.

Fingers crossed we will help to force a change on this soon. If you're interested in finding out more (or want to know why it matters) do check out our Publish Parental Leave campaign.

Thanks!

I’m really cross that the House of Commons has debated funding a day’s childcare to cover MPs for today’s Brexit sitting. Isn’t that their responsibility and one that goes with the (highly) paid job? Double standards when we don’t get the 15/30 hour funding during school holidays. If us plebs can sort our responsibilities surely they can too? Am I alone?

No you're not alone, it's an absolute piss take.
