Silly things people say about Multiples

I was in a lift the other day when a lady walked in and said "Oh look Twins - oh no they cant be haven't got matching shoes on" I did this then said " They are Twins they are just wearing different shoes"

So apart form the usual handsfull and double trouble - what funny comments have you had ?

I know! Can you imagine. Luckily her mum is a very well known doula and she's a total birth nerd so they all took it in their stride. Thank god everyone was alright. In some ways I'm quite jealous, having a twin pregnancy can be very stressful, could have done with some blind ignorance at some points...

Wow - what a lovely surprise . I really cant imagine going in to labour thinking you are having one baby and going home with.
A lady I used to work with was an unexpected twin - or her sister was she was born well before they had scans her Dad was in the waiting room while her Mum was in labour and did not believe the midwife when she told him he had two daughters.
