Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
shabbapinkfrog · 28/03/2011 09:03

The vomiting seems to be stopping. They took him to the emergency docs last night. GP did the normal checks then spent at least 5 minutes listening to his heart. His words? 'I am not sure but I think I can hear a slight murmur in Lews heart.' Danny is beyond distraught. He hasn't suggested they take him to hospital or given them any more information than that. They are taking him to their own GP today and insisting on hospital checks. PARDON MY FRENCH I am so feckin' sick of this feckin' year and its only feckin' March.

triplets · 28/03/2011 09:22

Shabs, try not to panic, both Rebecca and James had heart murmers, found out when they were almost three. As they have had several checks since they have now gone, its very common in young children........he will be fine, he will

shabbapinkfrog · 28/03/2011 09:28

I know he will Trips - and I know it is very common. Just felt like I had been punched hard in the face. I did manage to 'keep it all together' when Em told me over the phone. Said all the right things (I think) and tried not to be hysterical. Just so peed off.

Gareth and Matt would go mad at me if they were still physically here. as Matt would say

'Mam, you have to grab every day by the balls and shake it!!!' ......and, you know what? He is right!!

shabbapinkfrog · 28/03/2011 21:14

Trips - just watching 'One born every minute' and the lady on there is having triplets. How heavy were your lovely bunch? How many weeks were you when you had them? The lady on the programme is 30 weeks but the smallest triplet is not doing very well so they are doing a Csection.

triplets · 28/03/2011 22:30

Hi Shabs, oh wished I`d have seen that, what prog is it on? Mine were delivered at 32 weeks as no 3 had stopped growing. I had a c section. Rebecca was born first, 4.3oz, Thomas, 4.7oz and James 2.15oz! None of them needed any help with breathing, Rebecca and Thomas went into an open cot together in special care, James into a ventilator to keep him warm. Three and a half weeks later they all came home........................and the rest as they say is history!

Just lost my rag with them, worked hard all day cleaning, spent over 3 hours in Rebeccas room alone and you should have seen it 20 mins ago! They have all carried on until 5 mins ago, and I don`t feel right, feeling yukky:(

shabbapinkfrog · 28/03/2011 22:47

One born every minute is on Channel 4 every Monday night at 9pm. Trouble is I have a feeling that was the last one. They do repeat it several times though. If you cant find it on your tv just let me know and I will try and hunt it down. We are on digital telly not sky and we have a catch up service on demand. It was very touching tonight xx

DH was asking me how heavy your lot were and I knew James was smaller than the others but I couldn't remember how heavy. OMG Trips they were good weights for prem babies weren't they?

Must be catching tonight - just read Tom the riot act. He wont go to sleep and then wont wake up - I have tried everything but nothing works.

holidays2010 · 28/03/2011 22:56

Trips it was on channel 4 so you can watch it online on 'channel4od'.
it's the first time i watched it, (DP doesnt like it - too graphic for him) !
Anyway i thought it was quite good.

holidays2010 · 28/03/2011 23:03

Oops, took me so long to post shabs beat me to it! :)
Those were really good wieghts though!

triplets · 28/03/2011 23:26

Sob sob..............just watched it, God it brought back memories, I got so churned up watching it. Makes me realize how lucky I was, they had no problems, not in for a month, and me almost 46!

triplets · 28/03/2011 23:29

They were good weights, I took my midwifes advice, from week 24 I went to bed every day from 1-5pm, just read or watched the telly, and had a glass of guinness every night:)

shabbapinkfrog · 29/03/2011 06:59

Morning girls xx

oooggs · 29/03/2011 07:07

Erin & Jack are 4 today - so this time 4 years ago I was getting ready to drive into hospital to be induced. They were born at 8.50pm Erin Grace 6lb 14oz & 9.09pm Jack Nathan 7lb 14oz.

shabbapinkfrog · 29/03/2011 07:28

triplets · 29/03/2011 23:01

Happy birthday to the ooogglets:)
My darling Matthew would be 32 this July, seems imposssible, cannot imagine having a grown up child, and me nearly 60, crazy or what? Have pile on so much weight, yet here I am eating M&S nuts......................oh well. Had a call from Mac nurse, looks as though the onc has decided to repeat the ct in 3 months to see what these two lymph nodes are up to, just have to trust her.H feels in limbo, I think when they are on chemo they feel as though they are fighting it, in charge, if that makes sense? Must get to sleep and stop eating, being a bad girl...............Kale Nits xx

shabbapinkfrog · 29/03/2011 23:38

Trips please dont be so hard on yourself. You are an amazing friend. A wonderful confident. Stop putting yourself down. There have been times that the only thing that has kept me alive is......YOU!!
