See I`m gone for 24 hours, unmissed............and its alive with surprises.......:):):):):):):)Frumpsterrrrrrrrrrrrrr :):):):):):):) so so lovley to see you my darling, welcome home
Got back from London absolutley shattered. My lovely friend went into theatre at 11am today, they allowed me to with her to the anaesthetic room. She came out at 3pm and I went into see her at 5pm. She looked amazing, alert, no swelling to her face or bruising, no drain in her head, good colour etc. They did not even put her into hdu as she was doing so well. The bad news is they did not mamage to remove the whole tumour:( I feel gutted for her as I soooooooooooo hoped she would wake up and know the bugger had gone. So, not sure what happens, they have quarterized it and will again monitor it,bugger! The amazing thing was we arrived at the hops y/day at 4pm, all her admission checks were done by 7pm and we were told to go and have a nice meal somewhere!! Another friend joined us and we sat in an Italian restaurant for over 2 hours, 2 course meal and 2 bottles of red wine between three of us! 15 hours before brain surgery and with their blessing! The unit is amazing, very laid back, nursing care the best I have ever known, the place felt like a hotel, unique! So back to normal ................what ever that is! Glad Lew had a lovely b/day Shabs and hope he bought something nice!:) xx
