Ruby - hope you managed some sleep. When Danny left home he 'played a blinder!!' Him and Emma went off on holiday to Corfu....they signed for their house the day before they went. His parting words to me were...'Mum, if you get a minute please can you pack up my stuff!!!!'............and, I did!!

Its a strange feeling when they fly the nest....very strange.

afternoon all...tis freeeeeezing in North Yorkshire. I walked down to get the DTs from school in a long sleeved t shirt, cardigan, fleece and coat on top.....brrrr where is Spring!!!

Hi Triplets.

I don't know much about that kind of thing - but I think you are probably best looking at the Fakenham and Holt area of north Norfolk - close to the coast and coastal villages which are very popular, but probably a bit cheaper to stay. They are both (I think) picturesque market towns.

It isn't really my neck of the woods (I am in south Norfolk) and haven't actually visited either but from hearsay they would be worth thinking about.

You might want to post in Norfolk local area bit - I think there are other MNers from further north who could give you better info.

Goodmorning Shabs, you are up early, it is Sunday you know, off to chuch???
Got mother and brother coming for lunch, Becca who spent 36 hours with a friend y/day has invited her here for the day!!
Took the plunge y/day and booked 4 nights at Center Parcs on the 21st, school doesnt know yet! Its my b/day on the 22nd, we get H result on the 19th, its either going to be all clear or not, then back on chemo. So I thought bugger it, all my friends here are all booked(they have a social life) none of them could come for supper w/end before or after, so I end up doing nothing. So I told H no presents, nothing I want, would rather us go away tog. Cant afford CP at school holiday time anyway. Just hope school aren`t awkward!!
