On that note has anyone got a spare bed for the night.............there is a row brewing here...........DH in a foul mood with Thomas, Thomas in a foul mood with James, Rebecca feeling sorry for herself, fine when her friends are here though, otherwise just lies around feeling tired and fed up, James bless him is no trouble and I am trying to avoid the lot of them! Tomorrow starts the day with a smear test at 9am, lovely.............

Hello HM,didn`t see you there, are you ok?

OP posts:
oooggs · 16/02/2011 20:55

feeling angry all the time - everything is fine with dcs, dh, house etc but I am so cross. Lots of little things happening (like ds1 still bed wetting at 7) and all I do is shout, alot . I went to see the nurse today for an asthma check, and blurted it out .

I am not depressed (been there before) or sad just angry and cross. I am loosing my temper several times in a day and I don't know why.

Nurse has referred me for councilling, just to talk to someone qualified to listen.

In a pickle really as nothing is 'going wrong' so to speak.

I am not even dreading half term Wink as going to see Pixi Grin

HarrogateMum · 16/02/2011 21:46

Oooggs, I am sure this is more common than you think. I am permanently angry and feel like one of those bad parents on supernanny. Tonight DH is away and I put the kids to bed about 3 times before I served up my dinner...I always give it time to make sure they are aslep and I can relax. They came down another 3 times and I ended up totally blowing my top and shouting at them that I need time too. They dont understand at all but I just cant help myself and hate myself for it. And by the way DT1 is 6 and has never been out of night time pants. Every night they are soaking so no end in sight yet for us on that score.

And Trips - hello...!

triplets · 16/02/2011 21:57

You are right HM it is common! Look at me, in my bed by 8pm tonight because I am fed up, I get cross, very angry, feel I love them but dont always like them, then feel guilty. I think we Mums get so immersed in our children, our homes, juggling everything, that we lose ourselves.........then something triggers off that feeling of perhaps resentment.........that "what about me" syndrome. I have been around alot longer than all of you, feel as though I have been a mum, cook, etc for years, started when I got married at 27, and still doing it all at 58, with a long way to go. Sat here now trying to find some peace ad WW3 is going on with DH and the kids, he has let them stay up and now they wont go to bed. I get so fed up, feel trapped but love them, does that make any sense?

shabbapinkfrog · 16/02/2011 22:02

Hi Shabs........you know don`t you? Plus everything else we have had to bear. Anyway hows my honourary grandson, any new photos?

OP posts:
shabbapinkfrog · 16/02/2011 22:36

He is a devil Trips LOL.

Today he piped up (whilst sat having a poo) TMI!! 'Andma where do Uncle Gaz and Uncle Matty live?' Oh shite how do I answer that? I just said 'they are big boys like your Daddy so they dont live at home anymore, they live in heaven.' He was very satisfied with that answer but I know more questions are coming. Will ask Dan for some up to date pics and put them on my profile.

triplets · 16/02/2011 23:05

Awwwwwwwwww Shabs, he is such a sweetheart, hope to meet him one day before he gets too "growd up".
Kale Nits Shabs...all quiet here at last. Off for a smear test at 9am........delightfulBlush xx
