Mad in our house too. Xmas fair was thurs, swimming party last night, art party earlier and babysitting 2 overnight tonight. Dad coming to stay tomorrow, school play Mon, nursery play tues, ks2 carols & 2 class parties (to cook for) weds, pantomime thurs, nursery party (to cook for) and off to London fri.

Going to my cousin's show on Sat (after seeing London family), seeing bf Sun, Yule festivities Mon, off to Hastings Tues to see ILs, back home Weds. Then frantic battle in shops for food thurs and collapse in a heap. Ridiculous schedule but can't think of anything we can cut out.

Can you believe pixi-twinks will be 4 at the end of this month!!!! I can remember when I was a nervous blubbering gibbering pg wreck and found an earlier incarnation of this thread. The journey here has had ups and downs but I don't know how I'd have done it without you ladies .

Trips is hospital in London? I wish I could help, we'll be in Hastings that day and could entertain them (cinema or bowling or something) not sure if Hastings is miles out of your way? (I have absolutely no geographical knowledge). We'd be in London on 21st if appt could be changed?

Aw that kind of you, didn`t know you were in Hastings, thats about an hour from me, we are in Deal, nr Dover. Hosp is in London, such a drag. Will have to combine it with showing them the Christmas lights!

evening all..or is it still afternoon? DH has gone away today, not back until Thurs, turning into the pattern of our life! Makes it v. tough. DT1 put his hat, coat, gloves on and packed a rucksack full of Lego and said he wanted to go and sleep at the neighbours. i had to tell him they werent there...he wanted to sit outside and wait for them to get home in the dark! The crime I committed was not to let him have any chocolate after his tea!

My parents are coming up to Deal after Christmas til after new year - they could fit your 3 in the car to bring them down south for a visit

Hiya HM - must be hard being on your own with DH working away.

Lew hasn't been today - and isin't coming tomorrow. He is having trouble even keeping water down. Told Ems today that he wanted to play but was 'zawsted' (exhausted) - Em says he has kept juice down tonight!! She said that she feels like she has gone deaf because he has been so quiet!!

it is hard...I thnk I have broken the garage door today, happy days, after a full day at work...then had my mother on the phone saying "you should do this, you should do that", gaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh someone be my fairy godmother and swoop in and sort my life out!

I know Shabs, but you know when loads of little things get you down and then you just get wound up and then you get home and the kids are all bickering and you cant concentrate and you just tip over the edge....that was me tonight....
