pleased to say I finally won £100 after nothing in oct and nov

here’s to a happy healthy and ideally WEALTHY 2024 for us all 😁

£100 on £10k. It's the first win for at least 6 months. Prior to that it was £25 and £50.
Thinking of removing most of it and putting in a savings account as its been rubbish this year

I won £50 on £2300 delighted. Last win was oct last year.

We had a good month (for us). DH £200, DD £150, me £100 and SIL also got £100 on his first drawer so he was very chuffed. DD has won over £1000 total in the last 7 drawers, so she’s definitely the luckiest. This is the first time I’ve won anything since May!

I often think about cashing mine in to get better interest elsewhere but we have a family WhatsApp for our results and it’s too much fun to stop 😂.

I won £200 this month, £2,250 over the year. If I can still do maths, I think this is 4.5%. I could probably do better but I enjoy the little gamble.

GeneCity I've come to the conclusion that you can't transfer bonds 😀 Oh well, I'll keep my fingers crossed that the transaction is faster than the 8 working days!

Last month mine was credited to my bank account on 8th so I’m assuming it’ll be there tomorrow.

£425 for me on FH - 3x£100, 2x£50 + £25. My biggest win to date and highest number of prizes I've won in a single month. Have had a decent year and still dreaming of winning a big one!

About half way to the next draw.

I’ve topped up a little again this month. It won’t go in until Feb but makes my holdings a nice “tidy” number!

@Midlifecrisisat38 interesting to read your theory on bond groupings of £5k winning more.

This has been my experience too - although mine was in a larger 'lump' of £20k. I've got around 12k only now, but it was in loads of little bits and bobs. Hadn't won one prize for 4 months straight . So I've pulled most of it, and will re-buy in a big lump which will be ready for February draw.

Yes - I know it's illogical - and most likely daft - but I will report back in Feb on whether this has changed run of bad luck.

I’m going to buy 5k block towards the end of this month in the hope of winning more regularly. I too had a dry period of 4 months. This will give me holdings over 15k, so will let you know how I get on in the February draw. 🤞🏻😊

Oh you're all doing it now 😂 my first two blocks of £5k are in the January draw and I've set up savings somewhere else so will only add lumps in future

I've taken to transferring almost everything left in my current account once direct debits/bills are paid just after my next month's income hits my account. My outgoings per month are pretty much the same each month so that works for me. I also use the auto-invest option, rather than having "wins" paid into my bank account, as those funds go straight into the next month's bond prize drawings (so a win in Dec would be in the January drawing, rather than February). 🌹
