So, I wonder how it works if you are a "millionaire lady/man"?

Do you reckon they have to live somewhere central in case they need to leg it down/up/across to the Isles of Scilly/Elgin/St David's?

There aren't many car hire places open after Saturday morning (so presumably they have to drive the whole way if the 1st falls on a weekend). Or are their multiple "agents" on call around the UK?

Is there a draw on 31 December, BTW?

I got really exited I won 50 last time and I checked the app and the pic had changed but it's too early and it was still last months win 😫

There's hope for my mother's £5 holding from the 1950s then! I don't think she's ever won anything from it to date ...

Ah, I just started reading that Telegraph article. The first draw was held the month of my mother's 18th birthday so I bet that's when she got her holding.

This is my last month of premium bonds before they go into an offset mortgage in January.

I'm hoping to leave with a big sum but will probably get £0 tomorrow 🤣

I think they must do the draw days (many days maybe) before. After all they only include purchases up to the end of the month before, so they could do January’s draw today if they wanted. Then plenty of time to plan ahead and travel up/down/ sideways.

It would be a cool job. Though I’d get stressed about parking on various British streets.

I've got everything crossed after a horrible day today. Will we know at midnight? I've never stayed up for it but it's only 20 mins so I'm aiming to!

@HamstersAreMyLife sometimes it's 10 or 15 minutes before midnight - the prize updates but the month doesn't. So, for example, let's say last month I won £50 so then the prize checker would say congratulations you've won £50 in November. Fine, now let's say this month I win £100 - well if I log in early it will say congratulations you've won £100 in November - so the amount would be right but the month won't update until after midnight when it will then say you've won £100 in December if you get me. Godd luck everyone - I'm going to start checking now!
