No million here either :( Maybe next month.

It's my DH's birthday tomorrow. I hope ERNIE gives him a generous present.

£100,000? Every month I dream, and every month the dream changes. At the moment it's earmarked for escaping from the endlessly dark and damp British winter.

SB1971 · 30/11/2023 20:47

£100k is more straight forward in terms of decision making than the million as we wouldn’t move house.
Mortgage paid off, some £ put aside for the kids but not give it to them and then go on a mega holiday.

RandomQuestionOfTheDay · 30/11/2023 21:05

So £100k.

Some for a mega holiday, but we’d wait a few years until the early teens were more civilised. Maybe a few more ‘normal’holidays in the meantime too.

Some to my family member who’s much-needed holiday was ruined by illness, so they can go on holiday again.

Christmas Day dinner in a hotel, for all the family that usually come to my house. In fact no visitors allowed in my house over Christmas at all so I don’t have to clean and then clean again and then clean some more.

Some out aside for the DC. £5k on the house. Rest to make a dent in the mortgage.

TheMagicDeckchair · 30/11/2023 21:36

Do the £1m draws take place on the final day of the previous month then? Ie were they done today? And does agent million do his house calls today? It’s been very icy, perhaps he couldn’t get down our road. Or maybe I just didn’t win.

£100k would be really nice. I would probably be quite boring and invest most of it though, maybe max out our PB holdings in the hope of striking it big again! I’d maybe have a shopping spree and get some nice new clothes, all my cash seems to go on getting nice things for the kids at the moment.

Daffyyellow · 30/11/2023 22:24

Sadly no visit from Agent Million.

My fantasy spending list would be, upgrade my car, buy a small car for the daughter who is learning to drive, pay the school fees to keep DD2 where she is, rebook next year’s hols to our usual destination. That would probably account for all of the 100K, but a pair of diamond stud earrings would be the next spend! I can dream!!

OneFrenchEgg · 30/11/2023 19:18

You know the lists they produce and the total holding - is that bonds entered into the draw or entire holidng eg ineligible bonds? So if I have 750 eligible tomorrow and 10,000 more in Jan would it say 10.750 or 750?

I would think entire holdings

So given I’ve not won £1m I’ll start planning on what I’ll do when I DO win £100,000 tomorrow.

What would you all do with £100k?

I actually think 100k would be the perfect sum, life changing but not so large that you might worry about who to share it with etc.

I'd put it towards an extension and a garden office.

Wineisnottheanswer · 01/12/2023 05:53

Fingers crossed all

CatMattress · 01/12/2023 06:52

100k would pay for all the work we want to do to the house (update bathrooms, new heating system, move a non load bearing wall, update the kitchen and utility. Then the rest to overpay the mortgage at the end of the year.

Then our monthly mortgage costs would be lower, the heating costs would be lower, the house would be warmer (whoever did the kitchen left drafts everywhere) so I wouldn't get ill as often. Plus we'd be able to save more because no work needing doing any more so could continue to overpay the mortgage and still have some fun money for travel etc.

But the house is definitely first priority. Would be nice to press fast forward on our schemes.

cupcakes12blossom · 01/12/2023 06:55

No big win here but good luck all..

Agree £100k would be lovely..I could halve my mortgage! Well I’d overpay what would be allowed for the year over the next few years and then pay a lump sum off it.

paranoidnamechanger · 01/12/2023 08:15

Nothing at all again for me (I put my holders number into the prize checker box) but I put in another £1K two weeks ago so maybe I’ll be lucky next month.

Best of luck to everyone else 🙂

itsallnewnow · 01/12/2023 08:29

No big win here!! Someone on £5 won £50k!! Gives me hope Grin

It's not been updated yet!

Ohmylovejune · 01/12/2023 08:58

Let's hope they can find the £5 person! Probably christening gifts from the 1960s!

Good luck everyone!

mumda · 01/12/2023 09:01

It must be joyful to work for the premium bonds!

LondonLovie · 01/12/2023 09:08

Good luck everyone! It would be great to have a MN winner for December!

VisionOfYou · 01/12/2023 09:37

The picture on the app has changed from the boy with the apple to a girl looking up wistfully.

Good luck for tomorrow everyone!

thedukeofbuckinghamshire · 01/12/2023 09:37

Got excited by someone with the same holdings in the same county winning 50k but purchase date and amount is wrong.

I tried entering my holders number but apparently I was entering my NS&I number which is not the same as my holder's number. I have no idea what my holder's number is. Why do they make it so complicated 😀

Ohmylovejune · 01/12/2023 09:40

The NSI number is like a customer number.
The holders number is like an account number for Premium Bonds

paranoidnamechanger · 01/12/2023 09:43

itsallnewnow · 01/12/2023 08:31

It's not been updated yet!

On the website I think it has. After it told me I hadn’t won anything this month it said I could check this months winners and linked to the December list.

itsallnewnow · 01/12/2023 09:56

@paranoidnamechanger it hasn't for me at least? Still showing my beginning of Novemebr win. They name it weird though so tomorrows announcement is called Decembers Win even though it was drawn end of novemebr lol

CaveMum · 01/12/2023 10:06

@paranoidnamechanger the list that has gone up today is only for winnings over £5,000 so there’s still hope for the smaller prizes tomorrow on the app.

Someone with a £3 holding bought in 1956 has won £10k and a £5 in Norwich from 1983 has £50k!

bluevelvetbox · 01/12/2023 11:12

My picture has changed to a little girl looking at a Christmas tree in the prize checker app.
