£50 pending (40k holdings) on blue app, slightly disappointing as £5k in a 5% interest account just earned £21 in interest in September (£5k is the max I could put in and I need over half the amount in PBs soon for some major house expenditure so not much point taking out last month)

I'm new to premium bonds. Do you get an email to tell you if you've won something? Or do you have to check each time round find out?

You can check on the app or website. You will also get a text a couple of days later. I think you get an email too.

Back in the old days you’d get a letter in the post on the 15th. Our village postie would know what the letter was and make sure he handed it over to mum.

£300 for me and £50 for DH. I'm really pleased - my biggest ever prize month. DH is a bit disappointed as he has FH. We're running on about 4.8% return since January so think we're happy enough with that.

Pending was correct. Nothing on £35k.
Interest would be £181pm before tax.

£125 this month in 3 prizes with 11k invested. 6th month in a row of a win and £575 total won for the year to date.

Pending does ruin the fun but I can't resist looking. I'm very lucky in terms of frequency of winning. Only two months this year I've not won but had two months where I've won two prizes so see it as evening out 😀. I've only got holdings in the teens but pretty much £50 pm this year.

Didn't mean to still be awake. Didn't want to be but having breathing issues related to the long covid that screwed my finances at the beginning of the year. I won a whopping £50.
Now I can retire 😏

Hmm. Won 175 last month. Just checked prize checker and it says congratulations you won £275 but its saying for September not October.
I had the £175 for September payment last month, so not sure if it's a glitch or what

Mine’s also saying congratulations you’ve won £50 in September (in the prize checker) I didn’t win anything in September‘a draw, the last win was August. How odd. I autoreinvest winnings so I checked and yes, no more bonds bought since August’s win.

wonder why it appears to be a month behind. It’s saying nothing for October yet.

£500 for me on just over 12k. My luckiest month so far! Absolutely amazed as I cashed in some bonds last month to put in a fixed term bond, as I hadn't been very luck with the PB this year!

Zero again on FH. I won £25 in April and nothing since, I must have the worst luck!

I said last month I was going to transfer out, but left it in. With interest rates so high, even after I’ve paid tax it still feels like I’m ‘losing’ money each month. I’m really torn.

OMG! I can't believe it but had to share! Just checked the app before going to bed and have won £25,000! Absolutely thrilled! I nearly pulled them out last month too as interest rates have gone up so much! So lucky that I thought I'll just keep them in for one more draw!

So excited had to wake DH up!
