£100 this month - doing OK so far as had several small-ish prizes this year. 🌹

JayAlfredPrufrock · 02/09/2023 09:12

£175 on FH

edwinbear · 02/09/2023 09:13

Delurking after following the thread for a while if that’s OK? £250 today on FH, after £125 in August, £175 in July and £275 in June. I had nothing in May, £150 in April and £50 in March. So I’m doing OK for now, but I like PB’s as my ISA is maxed out and I don’t have a personal savings allowance so the tax free returns make sense for me. Good to see a couple of £1000 winners this month!

Cantfindutrogestan · 02/09/2023 09:15

Can I ask does FH mean full amount of premium bonds? We had a win of £100 on £6000, and the kids won £25 and £50 on a similar amount in theirs . Lucky month for us !

unicornhair · 02/09/2023 09:15

£150 & £200 on FH
Nothing for DD (£1k)

DH not impressed

peasandpetals · 02/09/2023 09:16

£150 on FH

baytreelane23 · 02/09/2023 09:17

Nothing on 26k boo

LegendsBeyond · 02/09/2023 09:20

£150 for me on 45k holdings. £75 for DH on 15k holdings.

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 02/09/2023 09:29

Meh, £50 on FH, better than nothing i suppose!

Rupiduti · 02/09/2023 09:29

I got £50 on £2k. It's only my second prize draw month so at least it's something!

FH = full holdings= £50,000 max investment.

Mindymomo · 02/09/2023 09:38

DH £175 on full holdings, myself £250 on £45,000. Really pleased, but tempted to put some of the money in one of their bonds that pays 6%, although it’s not tax free.

sashagabadon · 02/09/2023 09:43

Quick question for anyone that has won £1000 or more! I can see my wins of £25 and £50 have already been reinvested and added to my total fund but not my win of £1000. I’ve never won this much before so just wondering if it takes longer to be added to fund and reinvest in more bonds?
does anyone know?
I’ll just wait another day or so then email them to check. Don’t want win to fall into black hole!!

goingslightlyinsane · 02/09/2023 09:52

Nothing on 34k boo.

Although since Feb I have won £725 in total, and the previous year the biggest win was 1k plus others so doing ok

spacechimp79 · 02/09/2023 10:00

Well done to all the winners!
Nothing for DS on 9K, but I won £150 on 23K and DH won £225 on 30K. Our best month yet!

Cowhen · 02/09/2023 10:03

0 here on about 6k holdings. I've been in 4 draws and won once (25), so that seems about average luck. Happy for those who have done better!

Year12stressedmum · 02/09/2023 10:04

4 prizes totalling £300 on about £40k. Nice surprise after nothing last month!

ajandjjmum · 02/09/2023 10:18

£0 on £8K and £150 on £40K

RedHelenB · 02/09/2023 10:19

1 prize of £100 on£20000.

I think you have to fill in a claims form for the bigger prizes.

ItIsNeverMeIThought · 02/09/2023 11:14

No, no form needed at least not for everyone - my recent 5k win got automatically reinvested for me just like my smaller wins. The date I see in my transaction history is the first of the month - but then, this month's small prize reinvestments show there already with a date in the future. If you log in on the website and look at transaction history, is there nothing there?

lemonyellows · 02/09/2023 11:23

Well done to any winners

I got £250 today on about half holdings so pleased for now!

Imafirestarter · 02/09/2023 11:30

£100 for me on £32k after THREE previous months of no wins. Was beginning to lose faith. I know there's accounts around now that are offering a better return but a win of 100k or the million would be truly life-changing.

PizzazzRoxyStorma · 02/09/2023 11:31

Chocolatelabradorsarethebest · 02/09/2023 08:15

Zero here as well on full holding. I’m seriously looking at alternatives today. I topped up to FH in April and have only won one £25 since so an appalling return.

It looks like I’m not alone. I think maybe they’re good for the fun factor if you have a few thousand, but at FH level I want my money to work for me.

Hmm I don't know about that fun factor on a few thou. My 7k holdings have won nothing since February - and I'm beginning to feel grumpy about it!

Ihateslugs · 02/09/2023 11:32

£125 on FH, that’s £375 in the three months since I had the full amount.

I have to remember that if this money was invested in a shares account or bond, I would be paying 40% tax on the interest, I’m just over the limit when taking into account investments. At least PBs are interest free!
