£125 for me this month on approx £25k holding

NatMoz · 05/04/2023 12:44

£25 on £23k...after £0 x 2 for the 2 previous months. I did get £250 in Jan though.

For May I'll have over £40k so hopefully will see a better return...maybe

LizziesTwin · 05/04/2023 14:39

£150 on mid 40s

Pemba · 05/04/2023 18:21

DH got £175 on FH, he's quite pleased with that.

But I got zilch on £47,000. I won something (can't remember, less than £200 anyway) in January and March but also got zilch in February. A bit miffed!

Cassiusclay · 06/04/2023 09:36

£50 on £27k holdings for me. First month I've had that amount (previously £5k) but still less than I'd have had in interest if it was in a savings account.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 06/04/2023 09:52

I've chucked an extra 1000 in to bump up my holdings a little more.
In July an annual avings account I keep also matured and I will have an extra 5k to put in.

I don't care too much about checking interest rates. I enjoy the 'game' of wondering and dreaming of winning. 😀

And it is a place to put my long term savings as this is basically my retirement savings fund to boost my pension in 12 years or so

boschbabe · 06/04/2023 23:22

£125 this month. Was really pleased as been a while since I’ve won anything over £25. I did add about £15k a couple of months ago bringing total to just over £20k.

Mistymornin · 09/04/2023 08:09

£100 on £3000 holding

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/04/2023 08:40

Anyone that had an April win have you received it in your bank yet?

Seems to be very late this month, just looked in our bank account and it is not even in 'pending'. In March it was paid out on the 8th and it's already the 11th tomorrow.

I am beginning to think I imagined DH winning something in April when we looked in his NS&I account last week!

I suppose the delay will be because of the bank holidays on Friday and today.

Pemba · 10/04/2023 17:33

Yes I suppose so, but goodness knows why it takes them so long to give out all the results (personal visits for the millions, app and website on different days, then the emails, then finally the payments), surely it's all automated?

They don't half make a meal of it. Perhaps they think this builds excitement and mystique or something?

Dingus · 10/04/2023 17:53

I know, I'm. It sure why it all takes days in 2023 either!

Dingus · 10/04/2023 17:53

^I'm not sure 😀

lemonyellows · 11/04/2023 19:01

I like the concept of the visits but everything else should be on app the next day. Makes no sense dragging it out.

If the lottery can get the results out by email the next morning (if you win) I don't know why they can't automate it better tbh.

Pemba · 11/04/2023 19:29

I wonder, is it so they can hang on to the prize money a bit longer? Grin

I can see the prize money in 'pending' now, so I know it'll come tomorrow. The 12th, almost halfway through the month. It doesn't bother me that much, but I feel as though it's an outdated way to go about things really.

MrsBarbaraLangerhans · 11/04/2023 19:29

£25 on 12k this month. Not won anything since January, so pleased with that. I too find the duplicate emails and the sign in process to the website all a bit much.

TennisWithDeborah · 11/04/2023 19:57

The system is cumbersome. They should update the website/app once the millionaires have been visited.

OublietteBravo · 12/04/2023 10:09

I can live with the delay in winners being notified. Comparisons with the lottery don’t really work. Unlike the lottery they pay out the prizes automatically - you don’t have to claim them (and the prizes don’t expire).

I wonder if its hard to claim 100k type prices.

I think you have to provide id etc before they pay out larger amounts. Lottery is similar although £400 got paid to my bank account, £10 credited to my lottery account.

OneFrenchEgg · 17/04/2023 13:11

How long does a faster payment take? Made one yesterday and no email or showing in account. I'm sure it's been delayed before although usually I get an email within an hour.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/04/2023 15:00

Maybe as was Sunday

I usually get within the day
