I plan my resignation each month. It would be plenty for DH and I to retire on 🤞

It would be enough for me to ask to go down to 4 days, which would make a massive difference to my health and wellbeing. I'm just so fucking tired. Until then - on I slog.

Can't believe we're back on this thread - January felt like it went on forever, February feels like it barely started!

I think the draw is before march first. Because agent millions, apparently, does the door step prizes the day before the first working day of the month.

Though I am not sure there’s any actual confirmation of when these things occur.

I just work backwards from what the app says:

App date: all winners
-1 day: high value winners
-2 days: millionaires

There's a lot of conflicting info around re when the actual draw is, but I think the above is correct (barring weekends and bank hols etc.).

And then dh also won 1 x 25.

Nothing for years now.

I have extra bonds in play this month after topping up a bit, so I hope that means a prize (or 2 - DH won five different prizes last month, £275 in all).

I have BIG plans for a big win. One would be renting or buying a private student flat for dd at uni. A smaller dream is a foreign holiday, only for a fortnight as we usually only stretch to a week.

Yeah, I won't be greedy, I don't need a million though wouldn't turn it down but 100k would make such a difference for my retirement plans and the dc's futures.

I'd love to win big so I could fund some healthcare for my lovely parents, who are just starting to struggle with mobility and pain.
I'd absolutely love to leave my stressy, demanding min wage job and have a holiday. Not had an abroad one in 4yrs!
And I'd love to make a bigger donation than I can currently afford to some of my fave charities. Local ones that can't afford to advertise etc.

Logged into the “main” NS&I app to check my account details, as I wanted to see how much I’d won so far this year, as the prize checker app only goes back 6(?) months.

Turns out I have £2K less than I thought I’d invested! It does make sense looking at the figures so nothing’s gone missing but I’d somehow convinced myself I’d invested more than I had!

Bit depressing 😂

they always leave the big win to the last if you win multiple prizes (that's if you use the mobile App)

If you're set up for automatic reinvestment, then any monthly winnings go straight back into your PB account, so you don't need to even think about it. That's how ours is set up.

I’d love to be able to take the kids somewhere this summer, and do the kitchen, bathroom, living room..whole house really maybe we’d just move!

£100k would mean I could retire properly and give my knees a rest, as they are basically screwed.

£50k would be fine - could cut back my hours a lot.

£5 -10k would mean a nice holiday - anywhere with a swimming pool.

I'm not fussy Grin

100k deposits for the kids for a house plus a 10k luxury holiday

50k smaller deposits and a luxury holiday

10k just the luxury holiday

5k holiday (not quite so luxury should still be a lot better than we normally have)

I always revisit Rightmove this time of the month and I save the houses that I’d choose from if I won the million.

I’m sure tomorrow is the door knocking day (my house for sure, I’m in all day).
