One of Feb's million pound winners has just £3k holdings. What an amazing surprise for them!

FiveShelties · 01/02/2023 04:27

@Blondeshavemorefun thank you for the new thread, hope it is a lucky one for all the MN Bondholders.

Sadly I do not appear on the big winners list, hopefully better news tomorrow.

FiveShelties · 01/02/2023 04:28

Apologies it is not a new thread - the shock of not winning a million addled my brain!

Babytwodue · 01/02/2023 06:47

No big win for me this month 😭
from the list there seemed to be a few high value winners who have only recently invested, so that gives me hope 🙏🏻

Also, has anyone has luck tracking down old premium bonds that you don’t have the number for? My Dad was bought some when he was born but has never checked them 😱

@OneFrenchEgg like this? How great for that person in Leicester!

Aww that's nice

Is it today the results?

Think this is the list for Feb?

OneFrenchEgg · 01/02/2023 07:22

No chance im on the list - my area everyone seems to have max holdings. I need to stop looking, it's disheartening rather than aspirational! Slowly adding £100 a month.

Sadly nothing for me - but seeing many with less than me gives me hope

Roll on tomorrow and maybe £25

Good luck everyone

I'm not on the list either sadly.

The million pound winner with £3000 gives me hope though!

Does anyone have the list that shows the £1000 winners please? Just in case I have a few hours spare this afternoon to look through it! 😁

2023username02 · 01/02/2023 08:16

Nothing big for me either, and man oh man, is that list long now…

fingers crossed for tomorrow

UnicorseTime · 01/02/2023 08:19

Each month I say I won't look thru the list and just wait 2 days..... and yet....

IreneJones · 01/02/2023 08:26

Had my hopes dashed there. My area, very similar total bond holding (which is an odd random amount not a nice round figure) winning bond purchased the same time that I did for the same amount and a £10,000 winner. Very excitedly logged on but it's not me! 😔

Think this should work for £1000 winners

I have to get link off ipad as won’t do on iPhone

Wow £1 in 1958 has won £1000

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/02/2023 09:18

Sadly not in the 1000 either

So again roll on £25 tomorrow ....

Wow £1 in 1958 has won £1000

That's a rather good return . £1 in 1958 is actually worth about £30 at todays equivalent value of sterling, so £1000 is a tidy sum! No dissimilar to the way house values have gone.

Trouble is, it's taken a lifetime's wait which isn't that great 😊

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/02/2023 10:23

Guessing they have forgotten they E had that prob brought for them as a christening /birthday gift

@IreneJones awwww I've never been that close

Lots of my county but nowhere near my small amount

How do people know if they won anything on the list? Is it as they get contacted or just as they know their numbers??

ZellyFitzgerald · 01/02/2023 10:39

@Blondeshavemorefun

Thanks for posting the £1000 list, going to have a look now. It might take a while! 😁

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/02/2023 09:07

Wow £1 in 1958 has won £1000

Damn. I’ve got £2 from 1957. So close…..

RachelSq · 01/02/2023 11:33

How do people actually check this big prize winner list? Do they just have easy to identify holdings?

I’ve got a FH (most common single amount) purchased in various chunks over several years and it’s a nightmare trying to check the big winners list so I gave up!

HellcatSpangledShalalala · 01/02/2023 11:37

Arghhhh thought I'd won £5k then, had to log in to check my exact holding (knew it was around £15k a couple of months ago but had a few wins since then), it was someone with £50 more than me!!

Yeah I know roughly what's in there and it's not full holdings or a round thousand so it's easier to identify.

You only need to know your total amount and where you live!
