£250 on full holdings! That's my best win ever.

RudsyFarmer · 04/01/2023 09:00

My DP won £175 on FH for second month in a row so delighted for him 🎉🎉

£250 on full holdings! That's my best win ever.

Well done! ♥️

£150 for us this month (£550 over the past 6 months) on £38K holdings.

£50 for DS1 (£100 over the past 6 months on £5.5K holdings).

DS2 didn't win (never has) but he's only 9 months old with £1850 holdings.

That’s excellent for 6 months on 38k!!! Keep that money in. I’ve earned £700 over two years on 20 odd thousand and I was very pleased.

Teatime55 · 04/01/2023 09:04

£25 for me and £150 for DH, kinda disappointed.

doodles55 · 04/01/2023 09:08

£75 on FH ,
lm a tad disappointed if truth be told ,
ho hum
theme the breaks
roll on February and good luck,

OublietteBravo · 04/01/2023 09:14

£125 on around £26k of holdings. Same as last month.

EverybodyAgrees · 04/01/2023 09:25

£125 on £40k. I only started in September with about £47k and over five draws have won £750 total which is pretty good but i have to withdraw most of it this month and I think at that point it would be more sensible to move what's left into an ISA. It is so fun checking the draw every month and of course you never know but I feel like it would be very dispiriting to not win often - I didn't get the big bucks but perhaps it's better to quit while I'm ahead!

MercyChant66 · 04/01/2023 09:28

£0 this month and last month on full holding... feeling hard done by! Well done to our winners.

losingit31 · 04/01/2023 09:29

DH and I have FH. I got one prize of £50, he has a total of £200. My parents also have FH and they won £350 between them. So far, it definitely seems a better return than previously.

MakeTeaNotWar · 04/01/2023 09:31

Just shy of £6k holdings and after only winning £25 in all of 2022, the new year got off to a great start with a win of £50 and £25 so already 3 times last year's total winnings!

liltreasuretree · 04/01/2023 09:37

£100 on £2500. Over the moon, I never normally win anything

Babytwodue · 04/01/2023 09:40

@liltreasuretree oh that gives me some
hope 🙏🏻 similar amount invested since august and nothing yet 🤔

sobloodycold · 04/01/2023 09:59

So happy, have won £500 on around £18k! Cannot believe it!

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/01/2023 10:23

FedUpWithBriiiiick · 04/01/2023 08:32

My DM has a question.

She has £10k invested in one go. She has won £25 previously.

That does not remove the whole £10K from the draw does it? Just the holding that won £25 right?

no

it Goes back in. Every number goes in to every month draw

so no money ever lost

unlike the lottery

I wasn’t aware that a holding was removed from the draw once it had won! I thought all of them were in the draw each month.

Preexisting Holdings I.e. your premium bonds are definitely never 'removed' from future draws if one of those numbers is selected and you win a £25 prize. Theoretically a PB number could get picked in numerous months and continue to be picked.

if you win £25 on a holding of £1,000 then you can either prearrange to have your £25 reinvested back into your holding so that you now have £1,025 in premium bonds.

once your total premium bond holding reaches £50,000 which is the max, you cannot reinvest future winnings, those will get credited to your elected back account that NS&I hold for you.

or you can just receive all winnings into your bank account and not automatically reinvest.

daisychain01 · 04/01/2023 10:28

I have DH and me on my NS&I app.

His never wins anything even though I added £20k about a year ago. If I get a reasonable size win, I'll add some more to his account. We're counting down the days when we both get a win in the same month (even if it's £25!). It's just a nice little flutter each month.

I normally get something, this month it was 5 wins £25x4 and a £50 and the champagne lady Grin = total £150.

Fireflygal · 04/01/2023 10:29

@sobloodycold Wahoo! That's such nice news. I waa delighted with £50 last month..nothing this month

FedUpWithBriiiiick · 04/01/2023 10:35

Thank you folks! I'll pass that info back to her.

JesusMaryAndJosephAndTheWeeDon · 04/01/2023 10:36

Lady drinking Champagne and £50 for me, so I'm pleased with that

Need to get DH to check

Jellifer · 04/01/2023 10:45

Lady quaffing champers and a £75 win on FH for me.

torthecatlady · 04/01/2023 11:03

£175 over 3 prizes for me, nothing for dh.

mistletoe1 · 04/01/2023 11:03

£500 on £10k! I had been getting fed up as I’ve had them for a couple of years now (and the holding amount was higher a few months ago) and only won a couple of £25 prizes.

Minikievs · 04/01/2023 11:15

£100 on £8k
£100 on £7k (DC2)
£25 on £7k (DC1)

DC gets reinvested, mine is cash. I'm well chuffed!!!

zighead · 04/01/2023 11:25

Nothing for me AGAIN. Fed up as haven't won since September. Have 23K.
Well done to all those you have won.
