Ok so I have a dilemma... I have previously found out my partner was taking some money from me without my permission. I told him there won't be any more chances: we recently come back from holiday and i claimed some cash in vat returns on top of some unspent money in Euros: silly me I left all that cash laying about as i had other issues to take care of ... our 3 kids and bills . I know I put that money away in one place :.. week later I find it in another place with money missing... I haven't touched it... who did?! He said he hasn't :... am I going crazy to blame him?!

I am glad too. It's been very difficult, especially seeing the person you been together with for 10 years doing it in front of your eyes and then lying to your face ! Honestly felt like something out of the movie... like you don't even know that person! I have just applied for child benefit, never had to claim any benefits in my life but was told by child maintenance that I have to apply for benefit before they can process my application for maintenance. All I know is that he told me he been claiming universal credit, I am not too sure if he claimed any child benefit on top but I guess I will find out soon!

Oh you'll find out as he will have to agree that you are primary carer and this links in with UC especially if he's been claiming as a single person.
