MLM Bot Watch 73 A thread about desperate bots desperately botting

1000 replies

MarchXX · 18/09/2022 06:57

Saw previous thread was full, so started this one Grin! Thread 73, who would have thought Shock. So much has changed over the years of these MLM threads but it is interesting that some stalwarts are still going, many thousands of victims in their wakes.

The MLM industry is counting the cost of a more awakened population who can now see through this scam industry, although there are still the serial bots who believe they fail because they 'didn't try hard enough' rather than understanding that the business model set them up to fail, and join countless MLMs in a desperate attempt to find success Sad.

Yawn’s fingers! 🤣🤣

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 23/09/2022 10:23

Sleaze has just posted an incredibly unflattering photo. Wig has no wig or make up on and looks like an extra from Prisoner Cell Block H. I wonder how long that will stay up for?!

fromdownwest · 23/09/2022 11:03

Bruv couldn’t let just one day go without social media posting could he.

Who feels the need to put up, what is in essence a wake on Insta.

Have some respect for the poor woman and her immediate family.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 23/09/2022 11:27

Can't see Bruv's Insta since he locked it down, but can't say I'm surprised.

YouOKHun · 23/09/2022 11:59

Re Bruv. I’ve never actually looked at the parent’s business before but I can see it continues to be successful and well able to prop up Bruv’s Comic Sans hobby Job and lifestyle and probably continue to prop up Castle’s “success” to a degree. Though of course my reading of Companies House accounts is pretty shaky and I might be missing something.

I have never seen Wig unfiltered before - quite a shock. Shock as in she looks normal. Both she and old Edwina Scissorhands have created a lot of work for themselves with photoshop, facetune and policing other people’s feeds for unedited photos of themselves.

Spongebobette · 23/09/2022 16:19

Oh I thought they’d retired/ sold the business/ sold the family home

Ohnonevermind · 23/09/2022 16:31

In 2018 they posted a loan ( to someone) under “other loans”. Does this coincide with Castle buying her house. That would make the whole Airbnb and their living arrangements a joke. Or was it when they did a flit to the Canaries only to return when sis became ill. Did they do a flit to avoid HMRC then the bank of mum and dad bailed them out so they could return. The loan was for 300k+. No mention of repayment and not a directors loan.

Angrymum22 · 23/09/2022 18:52

Sorry, confusing, the loan was made by castle’s parents’ business to “an other”. Is the “other” castle?

According to Right Move the house was bought in the summer of 2016 for £700k.

Maybe 2018 was the flit move to the Canaries?

I’m in an exercise group on fb which I rarely interact with now. I can spot a pyramid scheme scammer a mile off and nobody seems to have noticed. I’ve commented so let’s see what she says. I thought her language suggested herbashite but I see juice plus on her profile. Are they still going? Maybe it is herbashite but more recent posts aren’t showing as not friends.

NormalForNuneaton · 23/09/2022 21:33

On Yawn's Insta story she's waffling on about helping people fight the cost of living crisis by having a second income so they can help pay fuel bills, buy food etc ......then I think it dawns on her what she's actually saying (money is tight for everyone, nobody is spending on non-essentials) and she quickly adds that her sales have been the best ever because people are spending money on looking after their gut health !!

Are they fuck.

So in the current economic climate if someone has £25 to spend are they more likely to buy a single carton of aloe jizz (£24.10 on the website) or buy the ingredients for 5 family dinners from Tesco?

YouOKHun · 23/09/2022 21:45

@Norma27 I haven’t thought about JP for ages but went and had a look and there it is all over FB. I see there’s a new sales technique of hitching JP to the Saxenda weight loss pen/injectable wagon which is available on NHS prescription for (I think) people with a BMI above 35 or a lower BMI if they have a weight related illness.

I know someone local to me who is an Osteopath and has a clinic in a local town. Behind the clinic is the real engine of his business which is Juice Plus. He’s very antivax, hates conventional medicine, offers health screening services which can’t possibly detect the diseases he says they can (but may prevent people seeking proper treatment) and is a total crackpot.

He sells the JP opportunity on the back of some pretty dodgy ideas about medical matters. He’s got a captive audience in JP recruits who he scares rigid with ideas about what will unfold for their children if they vaccinate and don’t take their vegetable dust daily. He’s a real bully but he delivers it all very slickly and gives the impression he’s far more medically qualified than anyone who has spent years in medical school.

The Osteopathy Professional body has no idea about his other life which appears to go against their Code of Conduct and ethical guidelines. He recommends JP to his Oesteopathy patients in the U.K. and separately in Spain he operates as a high-up recruiter for JP. He’s just so self-serving and arrogant.

I wonder if the person you’ve come across is his downline’s downline’s downline’s downline (plus many more layers)? Wouldn’t be surprised as he’s so high up.

NormalForNuneaton · 23/09/2022 21:57

Oh the irony ..... a post by Roomie (remember her?) :

"Do NOT send me a friend request if within 5 minutes you are going to spam me with messages selling your services, inviting me to join your groups and not listening when I tell you I am not interested !
It frankly gets right in my last nerve !"

She clearly has a short memory

On closer inspection they altered accounting period around this time so could have been associated with the acquisition of the house. Castle had a big cheque in 2017 and may have had an advance from parents until big bonus was paid. I suspect castle has repeatedly used her parents healthy business account to advance money in the strength of bonuses expected. The fact that her parents are now effectively homeless suggests they have all overstretched themselves. Hopefully they haven't remortgaged themselves to the hilt with interest rates rising quickly.
Obviously this is all speculation.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 23/09/2022 22:32

When Castle did get her first major bonus cheque in 2017, she made a big song and dance about being soooo grateful as it enabled her to pay back a huge (£250k, if I remember rightly) loan from her parents...

Spongebobette · 24/09/2022 09:49

From the last thread..we discussed rapid weight loss and magic solutions
My acquaintance who had a gastric sleeve in May has lost 4 stone and is being congratulated for ‘all her hard work’ by friends when she posts photos
Her hair is falling out (apparently that’s a common side effect)
the food she eats is still very unbalanced but in small amounts
I can’t see this being a good thing

BSintolerant · 24/09/2022 11:06

I know someone who did Lighterlife and lost about 4 stones. She stopped when her hair fell out. Her hair has grown back and she’s put on even more weight than she lost. Quick fixes don’t work. The only way to lose weight sensibly, and keep it off, is by eating a healthy balanced diet (with the odd treat) and taking regular exercise.

Ah, I had forgotten about that, that may be what is reflected in the accounts. But it confirms that she borrowed in the basis that she was expecting a large bonus cheque. Risky strategy.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/09/2022 12:22

Not sure, but I think she might also have mentioned that the loan was to help her start her 'biznis' or some such.
Speculation was that she'd used it to fund carefully distributed 'garage qualifying' sales among the equally carefully stacked ready-made downlines FLP had sent her way in order to secure the bonus.

Angrymum22 · 24/09/2022 12:41

That would make sense. But as a business model, borrowing 250k to make 250k while spending like a millionaire is bonkers. The loan was closer to 400k but maybe they loaned to all of their children.
Since limited company accounts are easy to access I wonder if FL do their own due diligence with all their new recruits and target the ones who have access to family capital.
Yawns parents and grandparents are comfortable ( grandfather has just bought a retirement property for at least 400k).
It makes sense to fast track those who have their own money. It’s only when you look at the business accounts forensically that you can see where set up funding is actually coming from.
Again it reinforces the fraudulent claims of rags to riches.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/09/2022 14:17

Castle's bonus in 2017 (for 2016) was 416k, so there was some ROI.
However, the fact this was possible is that FLP systematically placed 'floating' recruits under her so she had an artificially created downline that made this 'success story' possible.
Many layers of smoke & mirrors deployed to create a shiny new example of 'what you could achieve if you too took the leap of faith' and bought the biznis in a box (not to mention the deceptions and outright lies surrounding the actual 'castle'...

So she didn't quite so much buy a "biznizz in a box" as a "biznizz in a massive garage" 😁

definitelynotabot · 24/09/2022 14:45

... has she really admitted in the past that she borrowed to start her business? If so that really does show the absolute lie of starting a 6/7/8 figure (I've forgotten what her claims are for FL) on £200....
