MLM Bot Watch 73 A thread about desperate bots desperately botting

1000 replies

MarchXX · 18/09/2022 06:57

Saw previous thread was full, so started this one Grin! Thread 73, who would have thought Shock. So much has changed over the years of these MLM threads but it is interesting that some stalwarts are still going, many thousands of victims in their wakes.

The MLM industry is counting the cost of a more awakened population who can now see through this scam industry, although there are still the serial bots who believe they fail because they 'didn't try hard enough' rather than understanding that the business model set them up to fail, and join countless MLMs in a desperate attempt to find success Sad.

Oh she is def giving advice in her FB Group - both on recipes and exercise. My DH is pretty good at technique I'll get him to watch some of her videos.

BSintolerant · 13/10/2022 07:47

A wedgie? With those nails?! 🙈She should’ve left it where it was because she’s talking through her arse again.

In one video she talks about showing her team how to earn “shit loads of money”. In another she claims to have grown her business by £400 last month. She also claims network marketing has enabled her to lose 5 stone and make money. There’s something of the desperate about Yawn.

Ohnonevermind · 13/10/2022 08:54

So it looks like Castle’s multiple dreams of income are a complete fantasy. Still not one booking.

she’s going to be back in an MLM soon, probably the one with the girl who works with messiah

Such a shame, such a nice lady, always warmed to her and wanted to see her prosper.

Her belief that she is some business guru, because she hit Fl at the right time, is failing. The uni is a sham, her other businesses have failed, and this Air BNB is pie in the sky.

Spongebobette · 13/10/2022 13:25

She’s gone a bit quiet…

Spongebobette · 13/10/2022 13:25

She’s gone a bit quiet…

I think it’s all falling apart.
The realisation that post FL she is nothing.
The apparent fall out with Ex BFF and the subsequent business issues
The university content and enthusiasm is questionable
Her family staying in the UK whilst she runs off
Her air BNB not being snapped up

not shoes I’d want to be walking in

Spongebobette · 13/10/2022 14:58

I wonder if, for a change, she’s getting some resistance from her parents

Ohnonevermind · 13/10/2022 15:19

I hope the bank of mum and dad has closed and she can get off her phone and down to the job centre. Oh to be the person doing the ‘what are you qualified for’ interview

WisteriaLodge · 13/10/2022 18:38

I can't find Castle's listing anywhere?

NormalForNuneaton · 13/10/2022 20:35

WisteriaLodge · 13/10/2022 18:38

I can't find Castle's listing anywhere?

Don't worry @WisteriaLodge It's still available for Xmas and New Year ......at £800 per night!!
(plus £542 service fee)

Rather strangely, it doesn't always seem to appear. I think it might be because it's never available for a whole week so you need to put specific weekend dates in.

WisteriaLodge · 13/10/2022 20:45

Phew, that's a relief, £800 per night? Bargain!

YouOKHun · 13/10/2022 21:21

@WisteriaLodge upthread Tiktok19 very helpfully gave the exact search criteria they used and I found the listing using the same criteria having not been able to find it before. It should be ^ above.

Angrymum22 · 13/10/2022 21:24

I had an email link to one of the Scamversity’s fb page. Castle was bragging about yet another amazing opportunity the “uni” is giving members but of course you only get to know if your a signed up member. Lots of gushing comments then one rather ominous comment asking politely but firmly for instructions on how to cancel her subscription. No “thanks for everything so far and what a great experience” just a “ I want out but I can’t find out how to cancel”.
I suspect that it has been erased now.

YouOKHun · 13/10/2022 21:49

@Ohnonevermind I think you are right, if the Bank of Mum & Dad runs dry and she can’t convert her minions’ “oooh love your house Hun” comments into back to back AirBnB bookings then Castle will end up back in MLM saying “I don’t need to work but I miss the “industry” so much”. Whatever she does she won’t catch that lucky break again.

has anyone had any feedback on exactly what is being “taught” to the signed up/paid up students of Scamversity’s Secret Campus Group? I imagine it’s the same banal stuff as on their not-secret pages, just more of it.

YouOKHun · 13/10/2022 22:10

@Angrymum22 thanks for mentioning that. I searched and the comment is still there (person with a Scottish name?). She’s obviously deep into FLP and followed Castle into Scamversity I guess.

I’m going to ask her in a few days if it’s been easy to cancel or even possible. See if she’ll tell me. It doesn’t sound easy if she’s been forced into asking on a public thread about how to cancel. As you say, she’s polite but there’s no fluff there at all.

I am very interested in this question from the Scottish student and whether she gets a response or posts another question

presumably ‘contact your bank to cancel the automatic payment’ would be helpful advice

Ohnonevermind · 14/10/2022 09:52

Looks like castle is started to turn the screws on her parents.

Looks like castle is started to turn the screws on her parents.

She has put them in an awful position to be fair. Her only daughter leaving with her two grand children, leaving their beautiful family home and memorial garden. Just so Castle can fulfill her latest random idea in life.

Found it! Thanks for that.

Traceyfudge77 · 14/10/2022 15:54

Am I right in thinking that, if the monthly payments to Scamversity are set up as direct debits, rather than standing orders, then Scamversity can approach the bank and demand the payments. The bank would then tell the hapless account holder to get it sorted, and probably enforce some charges for their trouble.

Is there any help for those foolish enough to have agreed to payments via credit card?

Fierce is an expert in this field, I would expect her to have all this well nailed down.

Spongebobette · 14/10/2022 15:56

Wow, really?

Traceyfudge77 · 14/10/2022 16:01

Spongebobette · 14/10/2022 15:56

Wow, really?

I really hope it’s not the case, I just don’t understand why the Scottish lady hasn’t simply stopped paying. There must be something more to it.

Norma27 · 14/10/2022 16:20

I’m wondering if people have set up recurring card payments which are harder to stop than direct debits.

MarchXX · 14/10/2022 16:23

The Terms and Conditions present as very specific in relation to punitive monitory consequences for anyone attempting to cancel the monthly charges i.e. it is not possible to just cancel. I specifically commented about this on a live and cautioned people to read carefully the T&Cs. Fierce spoke to reassure everyone that they could cancel then blocked me from making any further comments.

I would love to be able to find out whether there are a growing number of unhappy 'students' who are belatedly realising that the 'haters' who cautioned them to be careful of these two scammers, were right all the time. A facebook "scamsaversity" page, for example Grin.
