Carers allowance decision

Ok so I rang carers allowance to ask for an update. It's been 4 weeks since I claimed. Anyway she said a decision has been made but wouldn't tell me over the phone saying I have to wait for
The letter. She didn't mention whether I would get any payments or not. So I take it I haven't been accepted and will expected a declined letter in the next couple of days. I don't understand if my mum claims PIP and I care for her as she needs the support why would I be declined? Does it depend on how many points she has on her PIP? I'm sure if I was accepted she would have told me that on the phone so I'm guessing I haven't

Cody3. I have left work since last 4 months . And my career allowance took 16 weeks for approved. Thanks xx hope u sort out today .

Hi Cody3 I've been waiting 12 weeks on Monday, spoken to them today and was told it was with the decision makers,do you have any idea how long that would usually take or is your guess as good as mine?.

@Tallula0503 mine took 15 weeks but didn’t class my first month due to working more hours but I was only doing 12 but I got it so wasn’t going to battle it waited long enough. If you’re accepted you’ll see money in your bank before you get a letter

I don’t know if anyone can help but I claim carers allowance on the 26th of October and then received a letter on the 31st claiming that I was eligible Animoji receive a back date within the next five days it has since been five days and longer I rang carers allowance to query why I did not receive my money and they said to me the money has been paid to an account which I don’t recognise I then said to them that isn’t my account and they said they would’ve only paid it into an account which I have put on my application form but I know 100% that I would’ve put my bank details and I do not recognise the bank details which have been put on the account what can I do???
