Sadly I think the next draw is May's, but who knows maybe we'll all get lucky on the old odds!

First month with both kids having accounts too, though only placeholder amounts for now. Still, I'll be excited for all of us until I find out otherwise!

There was a depressing piece in the telegraph this week though saying that PBS are at their worst value in 40 years because of failing to keep up with inflation. Regretting just getting £7k more!

@Rodedooda I assumed the next draw counts as June.

This is what the NSI press release says:

"NS&I will increase the Premium Bonds prize fund rate from 1.00% to 1.40%, effective from the June 2022 Premium Bonds prize draw. The odds of each £1 Premium Bond number winning a Premium Bonds prize will also change from 34,500 to 1 to 24,500 to 1."

So surely the draw on 2 June is the June draw?

Yes the coming draw does count as the June draw. If you look at your past draws on the app, ‘May’ would be the last one (I can’t confirm that though seeing as I haven’t won any prizes in May. Or April. Or March).

I've finally got my arse into gear and opened a S&S ISA so have arranged to withdraw some of my PBs after the next draw to go into there instead.

That will leave £25k in PBs which is more than enough as an emergency fund, money for car replacement or if we decide to replace the windows, roof etc but agree that it's silly to have huge amounts in cash savings now inflation has taken off like it has.

But yes, will be waiting for that phone call today, they don't just turn up at your house any more I believe, probably because they got fed up of Mumsnetters refusing to answer the door to unexpected visitors.

June high value winners, quite a few £50k wins in Essex! Someone has won £50k from £300 invested in 1999, just shows you've got to be in it to win it.

Ive only got £4,500 but one of those is from the 50s. I have never won so much as a brass farthing.
