@SavingsThreads yes that's really really unlucky ☹️ 9th month of the year and only £25 on 40k - you should be winning £25+ each month on average once you have £25k invested. Fingers crossed you're due a big win!

wheresmyshoe · 02/09/2022 07:17

1x£50 for me, best yet on £9500

RudsyFarmer · 02/09/2022 07:18

£50 this month on.22k investment. Nothing last month so I’m made up 🎉

Someaddedsugar · 02/09/2022 07:21

£50 won on £35.5k. I'm pleased as last month we didn't win anything.

GreenClock · 02/09/2022 07:22

my page is still showing the Aug result so I assume nothing won in Sept (I’m new to this!)

Just looked properly, it was 2x£25, still happy!

h0rsewithn0name · 02/09/2022 07:23

£25 on my holdings of £10k. That's £75 since April, so I'm happy with that.

Skade1810 · 02/09/2022 07:28

Nothing for me this time, but I did take a big chunk out last month so have less than 5k in at the minute. It seems like ages until the next draw 4th October!

Bingo78 · 02/09/2022 07:32

SavingsThreads · 02/09/2022 06:30

Nothing, AGAIN!

£40k invested and only won £25 this year.

I don't understand, am I the unluckiest bond holder?!

Same here, just over 38 invested and only two £25 wins this year. I’m really hoping for something this last part of the year!

UrsulaPandress · 02/09/2022 07:36

4 x £25 for me on £47k.

Hurrah.

recklessgran · 02/09/2022 07:46

£25 for DH on F.H. and nothing for me. A bit rubbish this month really but better than nothing!

I've had around £15k invested since 2003 and have only £25 once in all that time and that was the one month I had the full amount invested when we were in between house selling and buying.

WhatsitWiggle · 02/09/2022 07:55

Got £125 this month, not sure what my overall APR is but I think I'm still just above bank savings rates. I'm on max holdings but it'll be buying stbxh out of our house soon so I'm keeping it going until then just in case - even a few k would make a big difference.

BarbaraofSeville · 02/09/2022 07:55

@SavingsThreads and @Bingo78 , yes both very unlucky. If you put £40k into the MSE PBs calculator, you should win on average £500 per year, and if you click on the green tab it shows you there's a 99.4% chance you'll win at least £250 per year.

But that does mean that 6 in 1000 people win less than that, so sadly for you two, you might be in that group if your fortunes don't turn round in the remaining draws in the year.

I currently have just under £25k and won £25 after two months of nothing, making a total of £250 so far this year, which isn't too bad on an average of about £30k for the year (I sold some a few months ago and moved the money into a S&S ISA as I don't need to keep that much cash and you know, inflation).

onemouseplace · 02/09/2022 07:55

Nothing for me again.

Have you checked you haven't missed some prizes? That sounds so unlikely I'd think there was a mistake, especially since the payout rate pre 2007 crash was a lot higher than it is now.

On £15k statistically, you're almost certain of winning one prize a year and should win a handful of prizes over 5 years.

What you're describing is similar odds as tossing a coin about 200 times and only getting heads once.

RedHelenB · 02/09/2022 08:08

£25 this month.

Grrrpredictivetex · 02/09/2022 08:11

3 x £25 for us this month. Not doing so badly this year.

zighead · 02/09/2022 08:15

Three £25 prizes for myself on 22K. That’s my biggest win yet! Also got the carrot lady.
Nothing for DS on 7K.

JubileeTrifle · 02/09/2022 08:17

3 x £25 for DH and 4 x £25 for me, on full holdings.
We’ve had £550 in the last 6 months.

PanicAtTheBigTesco · 02/09/2022 08:22

Typical I withdrew £30k after winning peanuts over the last year, first month with only £15k in and I have won 2 x £25! Win win situation though as I have earned good interest on the £30k too.

newmumtotwo24 · 02/09/2022 08:28

2 x £25 here on FH. Also had happy carrot lady. Been on full holdings for 3 months now and won at least £25 each month so I'm feeling chuffed.

Alexandra2001 · 02/09/2022 08:39

Put 40k in late July so first draw yesterday, just checked and had won £125, happy days.

Thing is, 1 year fixed term can get 2% plus so 800 on 40k. sure there is a chance of a big win but PB need to up the wins to match now.

tripledecker · 02/09/2022 08:52

0 wins on £50k. I've decided to withdraw the money and put it into my 1.95% savings instead.

YourUserNameMustBeAtLeast3Characters · 02/09/2022 08:53

£75 on FH. I’ve had £75 for 3 out of 4 months since they put the prizes up in June, tracking just above their ‘prize fund rate’ of 1.4%.

I hate it when it immediately switches then to ‘32 days until the next draw’ - boo!
