I wouldn't want to be his teacher Hmm

fromdownwest · 07/04/2022 14:47

@Twentytwentyhindsight

Castle talking about taking the foot off the gas at FLP because it was getting 'too easy' (no, the bottom fell out of your 'biznis') and opening new 'multiple revenue streams' with the planner & coaching... Actually, all of her 'revenue streams' are predicated on the same audience paying her for pointless stuff they can't afford, and that audience is both shrinking rapidly and at the same time seeing its disposable income drop to zero. Multiple income streams my arse...
Ha ha, does she genuinely think that everyone is so blind to her twisted reality. Who in their right mind would ditch a £100k a month job because it is too easy?! Does she not say things before she speaks to see how ridiculous they sound. As you say, she is opening new revenue streams out of desperation, her cash cow of FL has abandoned her for more loyal representatives. It won’t be long until she has very few, if any, suckers paying for her ‘services’ as they will be looking to impress the latest queen bee at FL.
Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 07/04/2022 14:48

PhD says

Sat here wondering where we went wrong.

It blows my mind that we live in a world where financial educators like myself are threatened with million dollar fines and jail time for even just mistakenly overstepping the line into financial advice...

Yet the men who literally lost millions of dollars of people's money because they just did not give a shit in the 2008 global financial crisis didn't even get a slap on the wrist and are back out there this minute still managing money.

If you don't think there's another agenda going on I feel sorry for you.

I've realised now they'll keep throwing obstacles in our way because it doesn't serve them to have financial education in our hands.

So they can intimidate me, threaten me but I will never stop fighting your RIGHT to be in control of your own money & financial future.

Spongebobette · 07/04/2022 14:50

What does this mean? She’s being sued?

Spongebobette · 07/04/2022 14:55

Lol I’m another post she defends her lack of qualifications:

The other day someone asked me what qualifications I have to do the work I'm doing now. I used to be triggered by this question. Now? I honestly believe my lack of formal qualifications is a superpower.

I'm not a financial advisor. I don't have a degree in finance. I've never even worked in the financial industry. So why is that an advantage? Because I'm just a chick like you who decided enough was enough and I wanted to take control of my money.

When I first dived into the world of personal finance and investing all I could think was I NEED TO TELL THE WORLD ABOUT THIS.

Spongebobette · 07/04/2022 15:02

There’s an incredibly long post which, when you boil it down, says she spent £12k on a plane ticket

fromdownwest · 07/04/2022 16:18

Welcome to the real business world PHD. Our regulator has teeth, power, unlimited fines and the risk of prison.
It’s not a place to mess about, as it appears you are finding out,

You say you won’t stop, however a six figure fine and prison sentence may deter you!

Tupperwarelid · 07/04/2022 16:53

PHD was saying on her stories earlier in the week about the regulations and if she wanted to continue her business she may have to return to the UK. Wonder if her bubble of woo and lots of meaningless words is about to pop?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 07/04/2022 17:30

Yes PhD now believes she is in a position to dispense words of wisdom that will empower those who choose to listen to become a "rich bitch".

As well as the usual 'manifesting' woo, like "asking the universe to deliver a very specific amount of money every month" and "One of my favourite money manifesting tools 💰💫 is the money jar.
Anytime you receive cash add it into your money jar. Or you could withdraw a certain amount of cash from the ATM every week to put in there. Just seeing the physical cash will shift you into abundance vibes 😍 💸 helping you embody your inner wealthy baddie 🙌🏻", the only advice she is able to provide is "investments may go down as well as up".

As she so rightly says, she has absolutely no qualifications to provide financial advice, her only knowledge of money being blowing what she got from being briefly lucky in a pyramid scheme and having well off and accommodating parents...

So now she's upset that if she is going to describe herself giving financial advice, she will have to submit to the regulations that apply to financial advisers?

What fucking planet does that vacuous entitled knob live on?

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 07/04/2022 17:52

It's so cringe!

Hunbot · 07/04/2022 20:12

I do give financial advice

I had to do 4 initial exams
I have to do exams every year
I have to do 25 hours a year of cpd training
If i get advice wrong i can be sued

Welcome to the world of finance.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 07/04/2022 20:39

@Hunbot Yeah, but do you tell people about the magic jar? Thought not...
You're clearly part of the problem.

Hunbot · 07/04/2022 21:14

Magic jars no
I enable people to buy houses so magic beans maybe

Spongebobette · 07/04/2022 21:15

Come on surely you advise people that they can manifest money if they have a millionaire mindset?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 07/04/2022 21:19

@Hunbot- What specific amount do you advise your clients to ask the Universe to deliver on a monthly basis?

Spongebobette · 07/04/2022 21:22

Yeah cos if it was me I’d say a gazillion pounds a month please thank you

Hunbot · 07/04/2022 21:22

Why are people so suprised that you aren't allowed to give unregulated financial advice. Such a high area of complaints - part of the reason that it has to be so tightly regulated is that there is a huge comback on the advisor if someone feels they have been missold. Imagine taking her advice and then losing all your money - can't make a complaint against someone with an unregulated opinion. Customer protection is massive in financial services and we carry liability for the advice we give with no time limit. Dangerous game to play

Hunbot · 07/04/2022 21:23

To be fair I am a mortgage broker so i help people to spend hundreds of thousands rather than manifesting it

Spongebobette · 07/04/2022 21:25

perhaps someone will make a complaint that her advice to manifest money has not worked

Hunbot · 07/04/2022 21:27

Maybe she will manifest the thousands it would cost to settle the complaint

Spongebobette · 07/04/2022 21:28

Her website is batshit cray

BONUS 3: Money Manifestation Bundle
I've enlisted the best money manifestation teachers to teach you how to manifest more money, right now. These women are experts in their field.

(Value $497)

She’s learnt the ‘end it in a 7’ trick

Spongebobette · 07/04/2022 21:29

Sounds like that Anna Delvey

Phase Two: Think Like a Wealth Heiress
Research has shown time and time again that it’s understanding your own psychology & ability to manage your emotions during the process that equals the most success when it comes to successful investing & wealth creation.

This phase is about understanding & transforming your relationship to money and breaking the patterns that will no doubt sabotage your path to wealth and financial independence.

Hunbot · 07/04/2022 21:30

Who determines the value of the advice she gives? She has no qualifications at all. You can get the same advice for free for Bob at the pub

Spongebobette · 07/04/2022 21:31

She’s manifested her value from the universe

Spongebobette · 07/04/2022 21:33

And right at the end after you’ve scrolled forever-
