No big win here but I'll be happy with £25. IIRC loads of us never even won that last January so fingers crossed for everyone for tomorrow

Would the app show a bigger win today, or does it only upload with the mass upload of small prizes? I've checked app and still says 1 day to go...
Also logged in online and still only has December winnings in my PB account. So I guess I didn't win big!

The announcement is late this month because the guy with the million pound cheque is on his way to NZ and has to do 10 days in quarantine before he can present it to me.......................... nothing like an optimist.

If you had a lump sum to buy PB with would split between smaller lump sums to increase chance of winning or just one lump sum, nothing like max holdings. Does it make any difference at all or ma I overthinking this? Thanks

Each number surely has an equal chance though @Headred so I can't imagine it makes a difference?

I see lots of people saying this online, but as long as Ernie is set up correctly (and I'm sure it is!), then it just isn't true. What's true is that propel with more bonds are more likely to win more often.

Argh, typos.

Actually, what I see people saying online is that people with bigger blocks of bonds win more often (true), but even more often than you'd think based on the number of bonds they have (not true).

I read an interview somewhere that agent million is a woman... Best keep your eyes peeled for a lady.

How do the larger wins (not the £1m) get notified? Do they find out before 5th or do they find out in the same way everyone else does - ie via the app tomorrow or email/text a few days after?

I was also wondering what the biggest prize you can win tomorrow is? I've won 2x£25 twice now - is that the most you can win on the normal prize day?

@Someaddedsugar No - you can definitely win more than that (I won £75 once, much excitement!).

The most you can win without being listed as a big winner is £500.

Sadly no man, or woman, clutching a large cheque has wandered up my drive. But maybe next month.

I'm in this month's draw for the first time in around 15 years. It's all very different nowadays, with no envelope of paper bonds to file in my fire resistant locked metal box. I didn't do too badly in the olden days. One £1000 prize and a peppering of £25 and £50.

When I shuffle some cash savings to pay my January tax bill I'll add to my PB collection. Interest rates are so low that I might as well.
