Looking back at her Insta is really interesting.

Up until May this year I would be generous if I said she had up to 20 likes per post. The reality was lots of posts didn't even reach double figures in likes, several had 1 solitary like!

Then suddenly the likes started increasing particularly for certain types of post eg. pic with White Rangey 144 likes, dog posts only around 30 likes.

But yes, the likes are coming from India.

Compare this to her Facebook where she's lucky to get 10 likes and a few comments from her mum mainly.

Is Insta big in India? Or is it where NM is heading generally?

Spongebobette · 07/07/2021 22:15

It’s because she did an input at an online event in India - the whole ‘My Story’ thing including My Dream House My Flash Cars and look I Am So Rich
It got her lots of followers, and that’s why she is now doing the Bloodsucker style homilies

CompleteBarstool · 07/07/2021 22:25

I bet that's feeding her ego nicely.

Spongebobette · 07/07/2021 22:30

Yes the whole of her Insta is narcissistic supply

BotOff · 08/07/2021 00:12

Guys, Yawn’s likes etc have shot up because she is BUYING them! I noticed exactly the same and someone I know who knows someone else did some check you can do and she is definitely buying them😂 So, no FLP isn’t big in India but it’s where all the fake likes come from😂😂 The struggle is real and it’s a joy to watch it with them all😍

Spongebobette · 08/07/2021 07:30

Ohhhh

Spongebobette · 08/07/2021 09:37

not only can you buy followers, but you can buy Instagram likes too. Which is why it's crucial to check the number of comments too. An account with a large following, as well as loads of likes on pictures and no comments suggests the followers are fake.

Grin Of course she is! If you click through to those profiles they have no connection to her or even FLP but they are all 'self made entrepreneur' type nonsense accounts Who does she think she's fooling?
fadethegrey · 08/07/2021 18:45

You can try smoke and mirrors for so long until somebody who is more "aware" than you finds out! - It was always bound to happen - especially when you become desperate!

Buying likes and followers will only get the account banned in time.

VolcanicEruption · 08/07/2021 20:20

Karma- the ever decreasing income from the minions they have rinsed for years and having to pay to a real bizniz for help. Money they should be using to pay directors loan.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 08/07/2021 22:37

Thanks for the phrase 'ever decreasing' @VolcanicEruption.
'Ever decreasing circles' seems to me to be the perfect description of the bots' trajectories.

CurlsandCurves · 09/07/2021 08:39

@definitelynotabot

To answer the question in the thread title - it seems so. FL marketing plan promotions this month. 6 Supervisors. That's it. Nothing else. No AMs, no Ms, nothing. I'm gobsmacked. There used to be hundreds of Supervisors a month, and that in turn ensured the plethora of other promotions. Yes, I think it's imploding.
Wow, that’s really shocked me. When I was in, my upline would easily get 6 to Supervisor in their team alone, if not many more.

The monthly magazine would have pages and pages of promotions.

If, out of all these amazing biznizz owners all over the country, ‘smashing it’ on a daily basis, they can only produce 6 supervisors, something is going very, very wrong in the world of aloe.

Spongebobette · 09/07/2021 11:54

I think the pool of people to recruit from is shrinking away

There was a mini boost when the pandemic hit (a thousand curses on those bots for exploiting peoples’ vulnerability at the time)

VolcanicEruption · 09/07/2021 13:03

To people on this thread who used to be in the likes of FL or anything else in the glory years. When did you get your lightbulb 💡 moment and what did you do with your stock.

CompleteBarstool · 09/07/2021 16:02

I thought Yawn's diet was plant-based these days, or was that another short lived fad like the running, the sign language etc.

That looks remarkably like a piece of fish on her plate.

fadethegrey · 09/07/2021 16:52

If that's right that there were no Managers being promoted - then FL is truly in dire straits. I thought that the number one goal for most was to get to this position first, then you can go to countless trips abroad, and drink prosecco!

Spongebobette · 09/07/2021 17:23

The pyramid can’t keep going without new recruits

The pandemic has been a real double edged sword for MLM hasn’t it? It looked so promising; all that economic instability, all that “wellness” uncertainty. In the words of the boss of Thermomix at a DSA conference last summer “this is a crisis we can exploit”.

Now though…not so good. There has been far more in the media and it hasn’t been positive. Lots more YouTube content from people who have recently emerged from MLM. At the ground level it feels like far more people are aware of MLM because they’ve been hassled unmercifully on social media by the new crop of pandemic recruits and people are more likely to know someone who has already crashed and burned. Many more admins are blanket banning MLM. I’m in an MLM group and there’s a lot of talk about how much more hostile the “Haterz” are. There is a growing cynicism about “influencers” and showing off when others are struggling and so many influencers have been shown to be frauds. It feels like the pandemic which the likes of Yawn thought would be the big boost, might actually accelerate the downturn that was already happening. I hope so.

Spongebobette · 09/07/2021 18:43

Hmm yes interesting that the big show off influencers are not flavour of the month any more

Yup I had 8 friends suddenly become body shop consultants They have all stopped apart from one who sells chocolates out of her spare room and does it as a sideline
VolcanicEruption · 09/07/2021 18:55

I watched that Kathy Burke programme MoneyTalks. The 1st episode was the rich and 2nd the poor.
The pandemic has accelerated both ends ends of the scale.
A lot of the people in between may be swimming with sharks but they maybe more resourceful too (see the rise of cannibas farms).

BSintolerant · 09/07/2021 20:31

Guru Yawn is talking out of her arse again in her latest attempt to reel people into Forever Living:

“NO JOB WOULD JUST HAND OVER AN EXTRA GRAND ON TOP OF YOUR WAGE - NETWORK MARKETING IS WHERE IT’S AT”

Has she never heard of a bonus? Grin

Twentytwentyhindsight · 09/07/2021 20:53

No job would not give you a wage, but keep you working (and spending) on the expectation that you might maybe perhaps possibly receive a small bonus... (spoiler- you won't).
