nothing here but I only have £175 in bonds so far so not expecting anything for a long while tbh Grin

twiggytwoo · 02/06/2021 10:06

£50 on £40k - I'm averaging about £25 a month so this probably means next month will be nil!

belhaven · 02/06/2021 10:27

First month of £3k (small fry I know) and won £25! Yay!

MorrisZapp · 02/06/2021 10:35

Hello bond girls! (Sorry)

I've got 10k to put into PBs but the website doesn't like my bank details. Basically I live in a flat and it won't let me edit my address to exactly match the one on my bank account.

I rang them up to explain and they said I need to ring my bank.

Surely there's another way? Like filling in a paper form and sending a cheque or something? The website takes me round in circles. I know my bank won't easily change my address format.

Aargh! Scottish tenements are a nightmare for this.

MorrisZapp · 02/06/2021 10:37

Could I visit a bank branch to invest the 10k? Do banks do this?

Whitney168 · 02/06/2021 10:46

Two x £25 for me this month, after a drought since November.

Cottagepieandpeas · 02/06/2021 10:54

Nothing for me - but I've only had £50 in for one month, so I probably can't complain yet Grin

I put in 5k a couple of weeks ago, so will have slightly more chance next month. I did look at the results and some people won large amounts with small-ish investments so I'm going to remain optimistic!

gurglebelly · 02/06/2021 11:00

£25

WhatHaveIFound · 02/06/2021 11:05

£25 for me and £50 for DH this month.

JonahofArk · 02/06/2021 11:09

Nothing here on just short of 20k-have not won once yet!

WeAllHaveWings · 02/06/2021 11:22

Still saying "May's Draw £25 Won" on my dashboard...............

WhatHaveIFound · 02/06/2021 11:40

Mine did too but if you click on Prize History it showed me June's win.
FrownedUpon · 02/06/2021 11:57

£25 for me & £50 for DP this month.

MightNeedABiggerGlass · 02/06/2021 11:59

@MorrisZapp

This is a NS&I investment so if you go to a Post Office, you could get an application form there but the best way is online Smile

RaspberryCoulis · 02/06/2021 12:03

£25 for me too, on a holding of £20k. Nothing for the past two months so I'm delighted!

fromdownwest · 02/06/2021 12:06

£25 on £15k

Once again, this is not an investment for longer term gains. I set aside the my annual tax bill in PB's as it is no risk.

My S&S ISA has returned x10 what premium bonds have.

Would be interested to see what other people hold bonds as? Part of a bigger picture? Risk averse?

Thanks! I popped into a bank branch and the problem is they have my postcode wrong. They can't fix it unless I produce photo ID. I'll get there!

Hepzibar · 02/06/2021 12:52

Nothing on maximum holding!

HeronLanyon · 02/06/2021 13:12

hepzibah me neither. After a flurry of smallregular wins and a few of 100-150 I am unreasonably unhappy now in fallow months.

LarsErickssong · 02/06/2021 13:16

Mine are (eventually!) going to be a house deposit so I save into PB's and then each tax year move £4K into my LISA.
DaydreamerBetty · 02/06/2021 13:18

No win for me either on £9,850 😫

NeedNewKnees · 02/06/2021 13:22

Nothing on £25k, but I’ve had £150 so far this year, so I don’t feel hard done by.

sashagabadon · 02/06/2021 13:23

£25 for me. Had a dream I got £5k so it was v disappointing Grin

ValerieMorghulis · 02/06/2021 13:25

£25 on £50k holding for me. Nothing for DH on his £20k

Ours are part of our overall savings, other parts of which are in fixed term bonds or cash ISAs. I am very risk averse. I like the PBs though because winnings are tax free and easy to retrieve money when you need it. I’ve taken a few lump sums out to make overpayments on the fixed rate bit of the mortgage as that seems most sensible while interest rates are low

WildRunner · 02/06/2021 13:32

2 x £25 for me this month on £25k, so £75 so far for the year.

Same as above, my PBs are part of wider savings. They basically form my "3-6 months worth of salary" easy access emergency fund that would otherwise be earning nothing in a cash ISA. The rest is spread across S&S ISA, a higher interest regular saver, and some fun pin money in crypto. Plus pension of course.
