New thread for us for June draw

Let’s hope we all win something next month

I've won my first £25! (Sorry name change)

If I put in £15,000 how much do I need to make over a year to beat a good savings account? My money's been in 6months so far...

FiveShelties · 02/11/2021 04:34

25 for me and nothing for DH. We both have 12,500 each for this draw but have topped up for December and looking forward to the 1,000,000 just in time for Christmas.

Congratulations to everyone, especially @PropDes - that would be a lovely surprise.

SlugRose · 02/11/2021 05:54

Nothing for me but I won £25 on the first draw my £500 was entered into so I think I've had my share!

Eaumyword · 02/11/2021 06:04

£150 so really pleased!
So far in 3 months, it has way outweighed what we would have accrued in annual interest and I get absolute heart flutters each month hoping for the big win, so it's fun too!

InMySpareTime · 02/11/2021 06:09

Nothing again. I haven't had a win in over a year now. I wasn't surprised at the start as we'd taken out a load to buy a car, but as we're adding hundreds a month to it, it's getting to be a reasonable holding to never win with.
Next month...

Starcaller · 02/11/2021 06:37

£100 for me! Got around £19k in there so not bad at all. £25 for DH on £20k holding.

RockaLock · 02/11/2021 06:42

£25 for me on just over £20k.

WholeClassKeptIn · 02/11/2021 06:48

Wow. Some of you are doing great!

Hollyhead · 02/11/2021 06:50

Hurray after 5 months of nothing on a full holding 4x £25 for me this month. Back on track to match 1% interest now which is my aim.

ChessieFL · 02/11/2021 06:52

My app just says results not available yet Sad

Offredismysister · 02/11/2021 06:55

2 x £25 for me on £50,000 nothing for DH on £20,000.

WhatsWrongWithMyUsername · 02/11/2021 07:01

Yay 2 x £25, finally!

My first win in 6 months and my last month on full holdings (wasn’t on full the whole 6 months) as I’ve got to use a big chunk for its original purpose this month.

Silkieschickens · 02/11/2021 07:02

£25 for me on full holdings, not great. Getting about 0.5% return so may shift some of it.

DarlingCoffee · 02/11/2021 07:06

£25 winnings this month on £20k holdings. Well done everyone who has won this month.

Clickncollect · 02/11/2021 07:08

£100 for me on full holding. Interestingly that’s my first 1 x £100 as opposed to 4 x £25 which I’ve had before. Congrats to all!

GreenerGrass23 · 02/11/2021 07:20

£25 x 2 for me on a £40k holding. Whoop whoop!! I've had a bit of a dry run so I am delighted!

poolblue · 02/11/2021 07:21

2 x £25 on full holding for me.
I always spend my winnings on something I want (rather than something we need) and so am deciding between a Robert Welch kitchen knife or a spree in Waterstones.

FAQs · 02/11/2021 07:33

£25 for me, well done winners! Next time for everyone else, keep dreaming, it’ll happen 🤞🏻

InTheCludgie · 02/11/2021 07:41

£25 for me. I bought my bonds at the end of October last year and have won £575 in the past 12 months, very happy with that and glad I stumbled across this thread, would never have thought to invest in PBs unless I had!

h0rsewithn0name · 02/11/2021 07:50

My first draw, but nothing for me this time.

I'm curious to know, is there a simple way of calculating your rate of return? I intend adding to my bonds on a regular basis, so it's not a one step sum.

SB1971 · 02/11/2021 08:07

Nothing for me this month on full holdings nor for my husband on £7k. Bummer - need to do a recce and see how I have done over the year to see if it's beating the savings rate.

WhatWouldKalindaDo · 02/11/2021 08:08

Won £25 this month on £11,0000. Which makes £75 since March. I think that's pretty good, the Money Saving Expert calculator says I'm lucky to get that!

LizziesTwin · 02/11/2021 08:10

Nothing for me in November.Sad

userxx · 02/11/2021 08:10

£25 x 2 on max. I'm happy with that.

Whitney168 · 02/11/2021 08:14

A measly 1 x £25 for me on just over £58k (across two accounts). Better than nowt, I suppose, have had a run of decent months.
