£25 for me on 20K. DS got 2x £25 on £30K.
NS&I have a technical problem on the website this morning.

Nothing on full holding. That's the second month in a row I've not won a penny. Jan - June this year I won £50 each month. Hoping for better news in September!

I won £25 on a holding of around £30k which I'm happy with.

The weirdest thing. I checked my account (and posted) here on the 3rd (Tuesday afternoon) and it showed nothing, looked in 'prize history' too and no update since July, so OK I didn't win this month I thought.

But last night I had one of their 'you've won' emails. Checked the NS&I account again, and it showed an August prize of £50! Chuffed, but puzzled, next time I will leave it until the 4th before checking. But the rest of you knew sooner, what happened? Glitch on my account?

Pemba, I think it maybe takes a day or so for your account to update.

But if you get the prize checker app, you can check there whether you've won a day or so sooner - I think that's what we all did, anyway.

Those of you that have bonds for multiple children, what would you do it one child won the million? Would you expect them to share with the other child? My children only have £100 each so highly unlikely to ever be an issue but I was dreaming about winning the million (it didn't happen!) and it got me thinking.

I've thought about this!

I have one adult DC and two others. I said once they're 18, it's theirs to do as they please. Under 18, anything over £1000 would be split between them.

Haven't need to put it into practise though as we've only got our first £25 this month and they have less than £1000 each!!

After 16 we don't have access to their accounts anymore
I will probably move the money somewhere else before ds is 16 tbh. Until he is mature enough to be sensible with it .

Or with the talk of interest rates going up maybe I'll move it long before then

Yes, it's 16. I haven't had access to DCs since he was 16, although I still have him on the app so he knows I can see his prizes but not his holding.

Another £25 this month! That makes the return about 7% which is brilliant compared to other choices

£25 on just over £40k this month.

Not great but certainly better than nowt.

4 x £25 this month, after a couple of disappointing 0 win months. That's almost a grand in a year on under 35k so pretty happy with that: a lot better than the instant access accounts we looked at. It's all earmarked for house renovation next year so anything we can make before work starts is a bonus.

For the first time ever I've had more than one win in a month. 3x £25. On about 30k

Having said we got nothing on £30k, I forgot that both DSs have £100 each of premium bonds which were bought for them as babies.

DS (17) has won for the first time ever today as a cheque came in the post for £25!

Not long until the September results. Hasn’t August gone quickly?
