£75 on high 40s. Best month for a while.

Jasmine11 · 02/07/2021 08:16

Well I continue my 17 year losing streak by winning nothing this month!

user1471519931 · 02/07/2021 08:17

@AlwaysLatte which investment company do you use, if you don't mind me asking?

Sunshinedrops85 · 02/07/2021 08:23

We didn't win this anything this month or the previous. Congrats to those who did.

savvy7 · 02/07/2021 08:57

Total of £100 across 3 x max holdings

LarsErickssong · 02/07/2021 09:01

@AlwaysLatte

I put in £1k for fun last month, but I can't imagine putting serious amounts of money in. My sons' investments have doubled to 70k each over the last 10 years with the investment company we use!
As discussed previously on here for a lot of us this is just one part of our savings/investments. For me this is a house deposit so I want it be somewhere with no risk even if I don't get a great return (although still much better than a savings account).
FiveShelties · 02/07/2021 09:23

Nothing for me on 6000 and 25 for husband on 6250 - his first win for 6 months.

Perhaps August will bring the big one ...............

LuckyHedgehog · 02/07/2021 09:27

Quite a good month for DS and me this month, not so great for DD... 5x £25 for me, nothing for DD and 3x £25 plus 1x £100 for DS. So £300 in total, which makes it our joint best month in just over a year of having maximum holdings (and £175 the largest amount any of us has ever won).

QueenMabby · 02/07/2021 09:34

Nothing for me on £15k. Disappointing but I’m at 1% return already after 9 months so am beating instant access savings which is my goal.

Wow @LuckyHedgehog. Indeed you are lucky

No, never a penny! I've had £1000 in since 2004, and not a single prize! I've temporarily put the proceeds of a house sale into there so I am now on max holdings - first eligible draw is next month so fingers crossed :)

pitterpatterrain · 02/07/2021 10:37

£25 on £25k this month

Total £50, held since March this year

AlwaysLatte · 02/07/2021 10:48

@alluser1471519931 That one is St James' Place

Olny · 02/07/2021 10:50

My first month with max holdings and I got 1 x £100 and 1 x £500. Very happy with that!

TVHubbyClaire · 02/07/2021 11:16

Nothing for me again on £21k Sad

Roseyleaf · 02/07/2021 11:38

Holding £30k since March. Won £25 four months in a row. Fingers crossed it continues.

DaydreamerBetty · 02/07/2021 12:37

Won 2x £25 on 10k so really pleased with that. I’ve won £100 since January.

bullywee · 02/07/2021 12:45

4 X£25 for me this month on £17k Grin

IsItShining · 02/07/2021 12:51

Nothing this time, but I’ve had £125 on 10k over the year (it’s my uni fees stash for DD) so I’m happy with that.

Pemba · 02/07/2021 13:00

£50 for me on £47,000. It's OK, reasonably happy.

Probably still better than savings, and no risk as with shares.

Juliecloud · 02/07/2021 13:44

I plan to increase my holdings this month to £40000 so I’m hoping I’ll win more once they are all eligible!

fromdownwest · 02/07/2021 14:17

£25 on £30k

As above I have made about 25% on my S&S ISA in the last 8 months.

However, this is to pay my tax bill each Jan / July so can not have volatility.

TrojaninTroy · 02/07/2021 14:40

Nothing for me for the fourth month in a row. I have the maximum holding of £50k & of course this can happen, but my annual rate of return has only ever been marginally above the average at best. I don't need to hold this much cash on instant access, and think it's now time to put most of this into more S&S, where not only will I get a better rate of return in dividends but the capital still remains as instant access (subject to the fluctuations of the stock market).
