@CompleteBarstool

Good post *@YouokHun*.

Can I ask if you still follow Roomie's exploits?

I'd be interested to know how you view her foray into working with victims of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, those suffering with anxiety and clients who need "empowerment and support" when she's clearly quite vulnerable herself and although she has worked in the area of DV some years ago doesn't appear to have any recognised qualifications in counselling/therapy (although she did attend some "follow the light" type retreat course a couple of years ago)

@CompleteBarstool I haven’t looked at Roomie since the relative was disputing her version of events so I’m not really up to speed with her. She is more credible than WW but she’s a weird mix; in the past she’s obviously had some contact with legitimate agencies but there are just too many positive thinking memes and a hand in some kind of property endeavour. As soon as her CSA/DV audience has a money making endeavour put in front of it we are back in dodgy MLM style exploitation aren’t we?

As for the coaching and charging for it (or even coaching and not charging for it), I think the same questions apply as for WW; insurance, Enhanced DBS, GDPR and ISO registration, risk awareness and management, safeguarding. I guess she’ll have much more awareness of the last two considerations but I doubt she’s up to date. Regarding counselling of CSA victims, this is considered a specialist area from a counselling or psychotherapy point of view. In the NHS we would have referred those people to a specialist agency where I understand they have very specific training and an understanding of very specific trauma. I can’t see that Roomie has this training. Having apparently had the experience herself I am sure helps her to empathise, which of course is valuable but actually it doesn’t make her able to help people in an evidence based way iyswim, therefore I think what she’s doing is risky. The risk is partly because she’s going it alone and therapeutic work needs heads together; supervision, support from peers (because of what one hears), guidance from more experienced colleagues. She doesn’t have any of that (I assume).

Yawn apparently made £700 in retail profit last month. Her downline will need to be huge if that's what age gets from retail in the most successful year for 4 years......

That's ridiculous isn't it!
AlexCabot · 03/11/2020 17:08

There's a new Scentsy hun spamming the local selling pages with recruitment attempts.

Quick nose on her profile shows that she works for a debt charity.......

Spongebobette · 03/11/2020 17:36

Irony meter just exploded

YouokHun · 03/11/2020 17:44

@AlexCabot that’s terrifying.

CompleteBarstool · 03/11/2020 19:06

@YouokHun interesting point about the heads together/support from peers and supervision.

She strikes me as quite fragile (and has admitted to a mental breakdown last year) so how does she deal with the traumatic, potentially triggering information she has been told by clients.

Gosh it's a minefield

Sforsh49 · 03/11/2020 21:20

Nurse is quoted at £368 retail profit. But how much of that has she bought herself?

Spongebobette · 03/11/2020 21:24

Quite. A. Lot

BSintolerant · 03/11/2020 22:18

Nurse isn’t just wasting money she’s wasting time on MLM and doing what Yawn tells her to do in those alleged training sessions.

Nurse, this is your life. Why are you wasting your precious time on this earth, which you’ll never get back, lining Yawn’s pockets? Why?

Has anyone seen the fascinating BBC 3 documentary about Mariam Mola which appeared today? Some of her antics remind me of the behaviour displayed by certain bots and those dangerous creatures they latch onto (like Coco). The woman in this documentary has moved from one scam to the next, leaving a trail of financially-ruined victims in her wake. She’s adept at reinventing herself - she says she lies low like an anaconda before reappearing again. Her most recent incarnation was as a pastor in the culty SPAC nation church where she forced vulnerable women to take out loans just to line her pockets. There was a lot of talk about prosperity and abundance which was beyond bonkers. She’s been in prison several times and is under investigation by the authorities. Some of her victims got together and dropped her in it. Grin

I wonder if we will see her reinventing herself as MLM top bot one day? No doubt her reign of chaos will continue. She’s got quite an impressive social media presence.

David Icke has had his Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts permanently removed for sharing misinformation about COVID. Wig and Sleaze should be worried.

If anyone knows Wig and Sleaze see how they really feel about COVID, you can invite them round to my house, I tested positive on Monday, and my DH on Friday. if it's that much of a conspiracy they'll be happy to come in for a brew and natter on my sofa with no mask on!

ticktock19 · 04/11/2020 10:48

That looks like an interesting programme @BSintolerant, I'll have a watch.
Hope you're doing ok @Sforsh49 and not feeling too unwell at the mo. I saw the Icke announcement last night and had for once congratulated the companies for pulling his profiles.
Sleaze is currently on a 3 day ban, so no going live for him. Very disappointingly Wig has put a post up asking people to join her group or opportunity (I can't remember her words) and people are flocking to join her group without actually knowing what it's about ☹️

BSintolerant · 04/11/2020 13:30

@Sforsh49 I hope you and your DH make a swift recovery.

I’m pleased to hear about David Icke. Obviously he and his disciples will turn the ban to their advantage and will blame it all on dark forces intent on silencing them. Weird lot!

Sforsh49 · 04/11/2020 15:11

We're doing ok thanks, whilst we don't feel particularly well we don't need any medical attention and we could be much much worse in the scheme of things.

I've just had a quick look at Wigs page, she talks of Police saying "do you understand?" being legalese used to trick you into a contract with them. Then she says all Police have been told the vaccine is compulsory to them when it's launched. Both incorrect. I have never been taught or instructed to say "do you understand" and nor have I been told I will be vaccinated against my will when a vaccine is released. In fact, I've not even been told if we will be priority for a vaccine. I would much rather the vulnerable be vaccinated first, you know the ones who are more likely to need hospital treatment! (You can probably guess what I do now - which is partly why Castle and Bruv irritate the hell out of me!)

YouokHun · 04/11/2020 15:51

Get well soon @Sforsh49!

I think Wig will find that nearly everyone says to her ‘do you understand?’ in a slow deliberate voice. It will have nothing to do with verbal “contracts” and everything to do with the speaker realising that they are trying to communicate with the least sharpest knife in the drawer.

CodenameVillanelle · 05/11/2020 08:37

I've just had a post deleted and been booted from a local Facebook virtual craft fair group for pointing out that MLMs aren't small businesses or crafts. Bet the people who actually have nice crafted items to sell and who can't sell at Christmas fairs are so pleased that their market is being put off in favour of scammy MLM peddlers Hmm

TikTakTikTak · 05/11/2020 14:30

Sorry to crash, I heard a recommendation of a website to send women to ward them off MLMs. Forgotten what it was.
I'm dealing with MLM bots trying to recruit others and just want somewhere to guide them. Can someone post the link for me please?

CodenameVillanelle · 05/11/2020 14:34

Maybe elle beau blog? Or timeless vie

TikTakTikTak · 05/11/2020 14:38

Thanks Villainelle. I cannot understand the compulsion to drag other women into it.
Validation of making a good choice, I suppose. Makes me really angry.

acatcalledjohn · 05/11/2020 14:52

Get well soon @Sforsh49 & Sforsh49DH.

I assume asking you to snog sleaze to guarantee infection is a step to far? Wink

acatcalledjohn · 05/11/2020 14:53

*too far

YouokHun · 05/11/2020 15:17

@TikTakTikTak

Once you’re in it @TikTakTikTak you’ve got to drag others into it to try and save your own skin. Victim and perpetrator at the same time!
