It's a brand new month so have started a new thread.

I've had few emails from Neevo over the weekend offering work, however I still haven't received payment for tasks I did at the beginning of May so am giving them a wide berth. Anyone else?

I made it to 29 and then mine said no more tasks available. I wonder what it means? It doesn't seem right though as in the guidelines we were asked to set up an account with the Appen Data Annotation platform. When I clicked on the link I went straight in to the platform and didn't need to set up an account. I thought it was figure 8 at first. Then, in the instructions it asked for comments. I never saw anywhere to write comments. Then it said there were 70 pages and 490 sentences but mine ran out on 29 pages. Weird! Hope we still get paid?

Also got to 28 and it ran out, seems to be a pattern

All sorted now.

That thought did cross my mind too

Those accepted on At- if you're not able to do 6 hours this evening have you filled the form in to say you're unavailable? I can do an hour or two this evening, and another couple tomorrow, but not the whole 6. Worried about being kicked off the project and I've no experience of this as I've only ever been on B- and W- which haven't asked for the availability reporting!

@527040minutes I wouldn't bother. Judging by other projects I've been on here wont be enough work for 6 hours anyway!

Just finished Ti.... and then get an email to say don't start! Let's hope I get paid for what I've done. I suspect I'll be doing it again!

@527040minutes as Spock says, I don't think there's ever been a project with the promised queues. I once ended up on 3 projects that would have required a total of 60hrs/week. I think I topped out at about 25hrs before there was no work. Let's hope this is the exception.

At* delayed! I've been sitting here waiting for the link. Oh well, I'll go and have a G&T in the garden then!

I did think this one would be different as we got a specific time and date, but nope it's exactly the same as every other F8 project.

I have given up on Neevo because I am finding that the audio files are getting increasingly complex and long to transcribe - some are in such loud surroundings that it's nigh on impossible to hear what quietly spoken people are saying. And for 12 cents a pop I've got better things to be doing with my time!

For all those on Appen A*s, I messaged support yesterday because I thought it was ridculous advertising a project as 6 hours a day and then expecting people to start work at 6pm. To my utter surprise I actually got a response - they said all start times will be sent in Pacific time but it is up to us to manage our time and all work is on a first come, first served basis.

So, if like me, you are not prepared to work through the night you may find there is no work available by the time you login. It didn't say - you HAVE to work the 6 hours, just that you will probably miss out. Fine by me!!
