Hope you’re all well and have had a fantastic month of money making in April. And of course, welcome to anyone just joining us. I’ve finally managed to hopefully put together a more comprehensive list of absolutely everything I can think of to help people maximise their earnings in these uncertain times, some are referral links where me/the user earn some sort of reward, but you are under no obligation at all to use them. As always, referral links are more than welcome

I just want to get this out of the way and say that please, I know times are really tough for so many people, and tensions are high, but please don’t take it out on others on this thread. I really want this to be a place of support, rather than people ripping into each other in frustration. People on here also aren’t being intentionally secretive or evasive about work they are doing, it’s simply a case of not wanting to risk breaching their NDA and losing income.

It's a link at the top under Profile.

You need to register separately for the forum. I kept trying to log in with my clickworker details and wondering why it didn't work Blush

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 21/05/2020 12:46

Gah, been kicked off 2 clickworker tasks today. I'm an intelligent woman but can't get my head round some of them.

One of them I can't even qualify for, it's impossible!

Come back Ink, only managed about 10 mins yesterday before it ran out :-(

BertieBotts · 21/05/2020 12:54

Some of them are really crap and ambiguous. I've heard if you get kicked off twice, don't go on it again for at least a week (note down the name and date and avoid for 8 days) because if you get kicked off again within that time frame you can get permanently banned from that one.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 21/05/2020 12:55

I sometimes find their categorisation of what does and doesn't constitute the correct answer very strange (and I too am intelligent). Often it seems quite subjective IMO. And some of the judging parameters are narrower than the links one is being asked to assess. So it's not entirely possible to determine what the correct judgement call for some should be.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 21/05/2020 13:01

Thank you both, i'm glad it's not just me!

YetAnotherRainyDay · 21/05/2020 13:40

Some of them are just plain incorrect, too. I've had "correct" RTA answers that are wildly wrong.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 21/05/2020 13:50

I agree @YetAnotherRainyDay.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 21/05/2020 14:35

Has anyone actually passed the TaskPane one? I think I got 1 q right in god knows how many tries!

Buster27 · 21/05/2020 14:53

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock I did. But it wasn't long until I got kicked off for getting too many wrong Grin

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 21/05/2020 14:59

Oh dear @Buster27, I might as well give up then. Still got 1 attempt left and it's tormenting me!

ifuckarses · 21/05/2020 15:15

I'm so glad it's not just me who can't pass the task pane one! I ran out of attempts.

PaperDreamsHoney · 21/05/2020 16:00

Hi, just found this thread and would like to join in! I submitted the offline assessment for Way With Words last night and got an email this morning saying I'm not good enough for their main panel but they'll keep my details for specific projects? Not sure how much hope to hold out! Does anyone have experience with them?

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 21/05/2020 16:11

Remind me which one that is @SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock? The one I did yesterday was the only one I've done so far that I've felt I've excelled at. Some I find baffling and clearly you'd need to be AI to understand their (supposed) logic (the human version is clearly more nuanced!).

What's Way with Words? I did the REV assessments and disappointingly I failed them - is there a British equivalent I wonder? I never have any issues understanding British commentary.

PaperDreamsHoney · 21/05/2020 16:29

@NewModelArmyMayhem18 it's South African. The recording was very difficult to understand but I got almost all of it except 3 words that were just too mumbly.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 21/05/2020 16:40

Mumbly words are a PITA. What we need is people who speak clearly and very precisely. Always remember doing a French audio-translation that included the word "chemin de fer'. The speaker was a heavily accented union leader. I recall listening to those words about 25 times before I eventually got them! It sounded like 'schmutt feu'

seizethecuttlefish · 21/05/2020 17:12

Afternoon all. Sounding like a broken record but has anyone received all they were owed or a decent proportion from Neevo for the voice sentence recording and the Australian transcriptions? I'm still $70 down and they're not responding to messages. After nearly a year on Neevo it's a first.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 21/05/2020 17:16

@seizethecuttlefish do Neevo only pay fortnightly? If so, I guess we won't find out for another week if we've been paid more? I have only been paid for 1/3 of the A*** transcriptions. Only time will tell if I get at least another third (am banking on it).

Azerothi · 21/05/2020 17:35

@seizethecuttlefish I am down around 500, not sure of the monetary value, of those neevo transcription corrections from a month or so ago. I have given up asking now though.

seizethecuttlefish · 21/05/2020 18:02

Don't know if that's changed recently but I was getting payments every few days, looking at my Paypal history. Here's hoping.

seizethecuttlefish · 21/05/2020 18:05

@Azerothi I'm worried about that. Neevo have always been great and it's not ideal but if you're not doing something wrong you tend to get bombed out of the task. I've done it once or twice Confused They've always been a good wee earner for quiet months.

lilmishap · 21/05/2020 18:38

@seizethecuttlefish Im sorry to say that neevo have shafted me for a fair bit. I'm still not brave enough to do spreadsheet checking but a task where I'd submitted the max 10,000 I got £23(in 3 increments with a Wheres the rest message sent twice). Still no response, they're also rejecting all my calls as not good enough but no explanation after asking why.

I'm gutted I love neevo but if they don't get back on track I have to keep them on my unreliable list.

lilmishap · 21/05/2020 18:40

The Aussie transcriptions (I was close to maximum) have also vanished completely from my history. Gutted as I could have spent that time on clickworker.

lilmishap · 21/05/2020 18:45

@ruralwanderer with UHRS the first few hours are crap, then it 'clicks' the fact extraction one is one I love to bits as I regularly manage £20 a day on it. They get to be so easy you can do them without thinking BUT you have to be careful not to get thrown off before.

lilmishap · 21/05/2020 18:55

@cheesemongery the trouble with matced betting is that once youve done the first 'wave' you run out of offers/ All thr forums say otherwise but I made a few grand on my first foray, max 200 second and third.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 21/05/2020 19:07

Thank you @lilmishap, you've inspired me to try again with 1 of the tasks I was struggling with.
