Hope you’re all well and have had a fantastic month of money making in April. And of course, welcome to anyone just joining us. I’ve finally managed to hopefully put together a more comprehensive list of absolutely everything I can think of to help people maximise their earnings in these uncertain times, some are referral links where me/the user earn some sort of reward, but you are under no obligation at all to use them. I just want to get this out of the way and say that please, I know times are really tough for so many people, and tensions are high, but please don’t take it out on others on this thread. I m gutted about O too I made about £1000 off that last month! I ve asked to be pivoted, not sure if it will increase my chances but we can but try, I don’t do much potato any more as I found the low pay too depressing even after working on there a while I wasn’t making more than about £6 an hour. So I m a bit stuck now although my main job is really busy at the minute 😀 and I still have Ts one hour a day until August when my year will be up! I can’t do B* any more as my laptop is too slow but I liked the other B project I d like that to come back soon!!

Thanks to whoever mentioned Ocado shares the other week. I've bought 2.5 and they are doing really well. I have some on Trading212 and some on Freetrade.

With Appen invoices can they be rolled over to the next month? I've only earned £3 on b*e before the tasks ran out so not sure if it's worth invoicing if payoneer charge? It's my first month on Appen so I have no idea how it works!

@seizethecuttlefish - I've been paid out for both sets of scripted phone conversations. Am still waiting on Aus transcriptions and selection of pre-recorded sentences/phases.

Has anyone got any experience with Upwork? Wondering how it compares to freelancer. I've finally got an "ok" portfolio together but despite many bids haven't managed to get any work on freelancer yet. Wondering if Upwork is any easier to get a foot into?

Can anyone offer an opinion on which is best for testing. Testbirds or Utest. In best I mean getting actual projects and ease of use. And pay too I guess!

I've just taken a punt and bought 2 BP shares as they are through the floor at the moment so I reckon the only way is up after lockdown (fingers crossed). Nobody's used my free trade link yet so it's still available if anyone wants it :)

@Devonport14 I'm not on shifts yet but I motivate myself by looking at stuff in potato hours. I like that, I'd need to work x hours. Stops me buying rubbish and keeps me going. I'm also pretty goal driven so I set myself a daily target. I also tend to listen to podcasts or audible (as I can't do it watching tv, I'm too slow). I really want shifts!

I've been with them over a year and don't do twenty hours unless the surges come on. For me at least, it isn't really the holy grail.

I do 15-20 hours a week and it's a godsend, it has been the holy grail for me! I tend to split it up so a few 40 minute sessions through the day and longer ones at night.

At the moment it's my only regular income and I was hoping it might be a decent amount. I suspect I'll be going back to work sooner than I thought, if I can but it's been great for buying me some breathing space. I love when there's a decent Appen project as the money's good and I've been lucky with them the last few months.

That said, I get to stay home and that's a good thing.

I'm so annoyed this morning! All my cogs FINALLY turned green on 20cogs - I tried to cash out yesterday and today I had this email! I share the internet with my partner and son who don't use the website at all so I don't know how this has happened? Anyone else had this issue and it been resolved??

Having multiple accounts on one IP doesn’t necessarily mean you have multiple accounts under your name, but there are a few reasons why this could happen. If you access the Internet from a local network (LAN) in your home or business, it is possible that you share an IP address with other users. This is because, while you might use different computers or devices, you all use the same internet connection.

Whilst we are not in any way suggesting that you have done anything wrong, we do need to see proof of ID in order to get your earnings over to you.

This is a one-time thing, once we have received your ID we won’t ask for it again.

Please, can you send us 2 forms of ID. We are fully GDPR compliant and once your ID has been reviewed it is securely destroyed.

In order for us to look into reactivating your account, we need you to send in 2 forms of identification.
1 Photo ID, such as a driving licence.
1 Proof of Address, this can be any formal letter which states your name and address and was dated in the last 90 days (i.e. council tax or utility bills).

Please email copies of these documents to the Site Manager at [email protected], we aim to approve all ID within 24 hours.

Please note, all ID is destroyed immediately after it has been reviewed.

Thanks to whoever pointed out that surveys show up as a number on the Prolific tab. I've been using it for months and hadn't noticed! Much easier to just glance at the tab rather than trying to remember to keep checking the page.

@Devonport14 I do 15-20 hours a week. Pretty much only on shifts now. If I'm doing ppi I listen to something or watch tv and the time goes pretty quickly. Definitely regular breaks, I get square eyes if I work too long in a row!

@flameprincess Wow, WTF? Please let us know how you get on. I'm up to 9 cogs so far and I'll be put off doing any more if yours didn't get sorted out.
