Thought I would start a new thread seen as the last one is pretty much full! will post over Otterses' links now.

I'm feeling frustrated with utest as all I seem to get at the moment is exploratory stuff. I spend ages looking for bugs and get nothing back or very little compared to the time I've spent on it. I don't mind doing it if I at least get the guaranteed pay out for the test case but I keep being too slow to grab them!

@Catatemyhomework Yeah, we're certainly going through tough times. Both mine are good at exams so were planning to pull it out of the bag on the day, but that's not an option now!! Plus plans for summer jobs, work experience, university etc all up in the air so it's very hard to motivate them.

Exploratory is the best it gives you more chance to find stuff. When the scope is really limited, you might spot something wrong but can't report it because it isn't in the scope.

Don't be afraid to change what you do. For example, most people seem to test with Chrome, but IE11 tends to be more buggy, imo. So check the browsers in scope, then compare what happens in them. You start to spot differences and then you can decide if those differences are just because they are different browsers or because one of them is broken.

Yeah, actually, that's a good point - the one I spent ages on the other day and got nothing for, it was a really limited scope! I don't have ie on my computer, I didn't think you could get it any more? I only have edge.

And Chrome which I mostly use.

Yes, get IE11 and firefox. Just Google them and you can download.

@Wheelyyyy I clicked the blue work button and there was a task there. But everyone in chat seems as lost as me!

I usually read this thread several times a day but have just caught up after the most unproductive few weeks. Luckily I got to go my doctor and get medicine for a sinus infection before it was super scary to admit you feel unwell. I will not earn much for March as I simply cannot get ANYTHING done with my 2 year old at home 247. Any other single parents have any tips? (Nap times are a myth)

She was the one stuck in Spain and hopefully fingers crossed she is home now safe and well.

No tips for the kid situation, it's a tough one but hopefully as the days go by I will have more of a routine in place.

I understand what you mean about not working, but all I can say is do what you can, when you can.

Hope everyone is doing ok? I ve done some work on S**u on Appen this morning quite an easy $10 for less than an hours work whilst home schooling.i am also doing O**k and there is loads of work on there, easy to do the maximum 20 hours a week is anyone else doing it?

Is anyone appen invoice showing project ban* hours? Mines still not showing.

Mine are showing B* but they are still incorrect. Too many hours.

I still don't have correct Appen invoice for B either. I haven't managed any work for days as Appen is quiet for me at the moment. I don't have the projects you mention @girlicorne. They seem to have dropped off my project list. Had an email this morning about more work coming from B*r but nothing yet. I need to do something constructive. I might do some painting in the house as it needs it. My motivation is zero at the moment. Hope everyone's ok and managing to cope with everything.

I've had hours loaded for Fo but not Ba or Am*, plenty of time!

Hugely fallen off the thread work has been unspeakable, and now I'm stuck self isolating for 14 days. As soon as I notified work of my cough and temperature, my laptop was magically on the way been waiting months.

I hope everyone is well and staying as safe as they can in the circumstances

Nearly a month on bane I'm owed a shit ton, it hasnt appeared on my invoice AT ALL. So I wont be doing anymore

Just checking in, it’s been a while.
I hope everyone is doing okay given the circumstances. I’ve had to move back home with all 5 guinea pigs and say good bye to my boyfriend for god knows how long as he lives 370 miles away and yet uni expect me to continue like normal and submit assignments

My sister’s working on the COVID ward and both my parents are in their 60s/70s and I feel so out of my depth so haven’t kept up with making any money at all.

It’s shit, I hate it, but it’s for the greater good.

Anyway, I just had a wee task from neevo so I’m going to attempt it. I haven’t even managed to scan receipts recently. I have no motivation.

@girlicorne thanks for the reminder about Oz, I'd forgotten about it my log in for the tool still seems to be deactivated so I've had to send in a ticket. I still have work on another project but I think it will end soon so it would be good to have another!
