Yes, thread 55 in a long series!
Thinking of joining an MLM? Forever Living? NuSkin? Younique? Valentus? One of the cryptocurrencies, weight loss coffees or travel agencies?
Read these threads first!
The vast majority of people who join an MLM actually LOSE money.
You don't have a business when you join an MLM, you are an unpaid rep.
On these threads you will find lots of examples of how 'uplines' lie to hook you in and keep you spending your own money.
You should also inform yourself by looking at

Willow that would have been so funny. Iron came up in conversation for me at work this week as I bumped into an mutual ex-colleague of Iron and I. We both felt very sorry for her kids.

CodenameVillanelle · 27/11/2019 22:10

Jeez. Vegan is not a magic energy enhancing diet it's just regular food.
I doubt she'll keep it up anyway. (And that's fine, no judgement from me on that, but it's a big fanfare about something that won't last long)

Talula1993 · 27/11/2019 23:31

Thanks 9darkfinish second.

I have heard a lot about the lies. I just cant get my head around how anyone can get away with it. In my fb days of forever living (which seemed to die out over a year ago on my fb) it consisted of "hehe my fb is blowing up with messages love my lil business" to what I'm seeing now "yes, 10 k in month. So happy to be financially secure for life" just seems such an extreme jump in lies that a small part of me considered there is an element of truth.

MLMsuperfan · 27/11/2019 23:38

Roomie is having a clearout sale. Highlight is three Forever Living branded giant foam hands! Yours for a tenner.

BSintolerant · 27/11/2019 23:59

I had no idea Roomie had three hands. Grin

Joking apart, are the giant Forever Fibbing foam hands the MLM equivalent of Mumsnet’s notorious wank mitten? 😂👍🤣

RogueApostrophe · 28/11/2019 00:00

Yawn's veganism will last as long as her month of not drinking i.e. until the weekend. She did have a good old rant on FB about us lot doubting her vegan superhero powers.

BSintolerant · 28/11/2019 00:15

I don’t know why Yawn’s bothering with a vegan diet. She’s all wind and no piss as it is.

GoldenKelpie · 28/11/2019 07:15

And vegans love to virtue-signal that they are helping the animals, environment and their health. None of it true when you look into it.

I wonder when she will stop doing it. I wager she will stop mentioning it by, certainly December 25th Grin when there will be a massive turkey on the table.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 28/11/2019 08:17

Roomie's obviously trying to recoup something from the financial outgoings of years of FL.

All that money down the pan on FL branded items like table cloths, leaflets, stationery and... erm... foam hands

MLMsuperfan · 28/11/2019 08:30

Did she actually have to buy the foam hands at a FL event? It's tragic either way; either she's selling freebies or she paid for promotional tat. No genuine corporate event would charge for something like that. And who is the buyer going to be? Someone who takes three foam hands in their luggage to Australia? Insane.

Jigsawpuzzle · 28/11/2019 09:14

Homeschool looking for Nail person for an event and somebody replied will Jamberry do.
Nurses insta shows DS in car seat?and raving about fresh bedding?.
I also noted roomies sale of the century and Yawn getting pissed off about something.

JasperRising · 28/11/2019 09:25

The lies of the more lowly bots here whilst the actual top UK bot flies under the radar (apart from the occasional references to her targeting of African countries). However, I notice she is currently peddling the claim that you just have to share what you are passionate about and really pushing the argument that you don't need to know everything about the business, you just need to it (way to prevent new recruits trying to find out more about the opportunity).

She has also dragged DiL into the family business (having had son set up as an ambassador for the fitness products) which doesn't bode well for children of bots escaping the business (isn't other top flight UK bot the daughter of a bot?). At least if your parents/in laws are at the top of the pile you get a leg up which the other kids won't.

JasperRising · 28/11/2019 09:25

Ooops. Didn't specify. Top UK FL bot

BSintolerant · 28/11/2019 09:39

Jamberry closed down a while ago. Someone must have a garage full of nail wraps to dispose of.

Gotmychocolateimgood · 28/11/2019 11:34

Nurse is cooking lunch.

That's all for today folks.

Gotmychocolateimgood · 28/11/2019 11:35

Top UK FL bot (Bloodsucker) is the only one getting any lasting wealth out of FL in the long run I think. Possibly Uber.

Out of all the thousands of women who 'believed she could, so did' etc.

Jigsawpuzzle · 28/11/2019 11:44

Is bloodsucker mingling with the plebs at Xmas fairs now?

Whiterangey · 28/11/2019 11:59

I don't mention Bloodsucker a lot because I don't like the way it makes me feel. When I can get on the computer later I'll share her words from Africa again.

She's a piece of shit.

Whiterangey · 28/11/2019 12:20

The cost of the Combo box was 54,000 Kwatcha (the local currency), which was the equivalent of about 7 months average income in Malawi, yet it didn't seem to stop them. Some promised to come back with the money the next day, and some registered and said they would have to wait for a month or two.

Spongebobette · 28/11/2019 13:59

Absolutely disgusting, exploitative behaviour AND PROUD OF IT!!

OP posts:
Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/11/2019 14:05

I expect Bloodsucker's bragging about it had quite a bit to do with it being a way to browbeat her hapless minions here about their lack of commitment if they were balking at the escalating out-of-pocket expenses involved in the amaaaazing opportunity...

JasperRising · 28/11/2019 14:22

I don't want to generalise too much about Africa as there is considerable variety in wealth/lifestyles across the continent. But if you're selling something that cost 7x the average wage and are selling it to people who can't pay straight away (ie: aren't that countries middle/upper class), there is a good chance you are selling your opportunity to people who may be caring for a much larger extended family than in the UK norm, who don't have a benefits system providing some level of safety net, and who can't easily access free healthcare.

We see how badly people in the UK can be affected by debts and so on but at least we (currently) have the NHS and some degree of state support via benefits for all their flaws. Imagine what it must be like for those being targeted in developing countries when the business model doesn't work for them...

RogueApostrophe · 28/11/2019 14:43

The TS Bots are still going strong. Saw this on a page ~ can you really pay your mortgage off in cash? Surely you'd do a bank transfer in this day and age! And that retiring a partner line is getting so old. It'd be madness to think that just a year's worth of sales commissions would be enough to sustain you for a lifetime.

[Name removed] just paid her mortgage off in CASH
[Name removed] mother of four girls, home schools and retired her parter
[Name removed] over £1 MILLION worth of revenue through her business in her first year alone.

All huge inspirations, making moves to better their families lives.

Thank you for being amazing mentors to me & my team 💓🙌🏼

Jigsawpuzzle · 28/11/2019 15:04

Paying a mortgage in cash would send money laundering process in meltdown 😂🏡🏦🌋

RogueApostrophe · 28/11/2019 15:17

You'd think so, right?! It's all just hyperbole but it's very emotive language and will make people fall over themselves to find out more info about the business opportunity. It's such a con.
