The barista at my local coffeehouse has been coming to my table for the past 3 weeks or so to chat after her shift (I've been coming to this place for about 2 years now and we're sort of acquaintances/friends?). Yesterday, she tried to sell me some health drink thing which turned out to be bloody Herbalife! I know this has nothing to do with the hunbots on this thread but I am actually so irritated right now. Talk about ulterior motives.

I was just walking to the gym and a homeless person stepped out from a dark alley and made me jump. Then I thought "PHD said we should remove our judgement and he might just be a business man having a bad day, or maybe he's in fancy dress!"

Yawn ‘being flown to’ Thailand (they all say this rather than ‘going to’ because it sounds so impressive..... I suppose Forever Living are trying to push hard in that market and are importing some of their ‘stars’ to dazzle FBOs over there

So, once again, the "free holiday" is going to involve spending a chunk of it in a conference room working.

I wonder how many other "conditions" are involved?

(and talking of which , I wonder if a condition that came with the car for the illusive son was "you must allow me to take and use X photos of you and the car on Facebook")

What you have described sums up exactly the predatory nature of Multi-Level Marketing.
People are led to believe they could be making a new friend and boom, turns out all they wanted was you to join the cult, it is despicable behaviour.

I hear stories constantly of people who have moved to a new area or stay at home parents who are looking to make new friends and are constantly being subjected to these vile solicitations.

When you tell them you are not interested they suddenly seem to lose all interest in you.

Whilst i'm on my high horse, I think it would be wonderful if the likes of Costa Coffee and Starbucks etc....... came out and openly condemned and banned the use of their premises for MLM soliciting.

I notice a lot of posts from huns claiming to be there for pre-arranged meetings but all you ever see is a pic of the table with a Laptop/ Mindset training book and whatever they are drinking, makes me think they hang around in the hope of luring in new victims.
