NCforsafety · 05/09/2019 15:22

Hi after some advice re Appen Global. I'm doing a project on there which states it pays $100 but I'm not being asked to fill out a timesheet. Am I meant to or do they just log you work as it is submitted? Terribly confusing!

Great thread this monthly one by the way - has helped me hugely!

AHobbyaweek · 05/09/2019 15:30

@MrsGaryLightbody I was a bit disappointed at first as I was getting really low amounts but only 10 in it went up quite a bit. It depends on how many questions you answer for each bit.

anxiouswaiting · 05/09/2019 16:44

Just had payment through for the snack bar tasting so can confirm it is genuine. Also looks like they do testing for various other products so once you have signed up there might be more opportunities.

They also e-mailed saying they are still looking for more people if anyone wants to sign up using my link

Excited today becauase my car seat has arrived Grin I love how this group has enabled me to make enough money to be able to get things I couldn't afford before!

anxiouswaiting · 05/09/2019 18:28

Oh just had another update - when you have tested the bar and been paid you can then do a video survey for £40! Hoping to do that one over the weekend when DH can keep DS occupied long enough for me to do it!

Frenchdoors1 · 05/09/2019 19:02

Hi @anxiouswaiting
Can I ask you a question please about the snack bars--the £2 ones are available in my supermarket but the £8 one, is it called nutty?! I have googled and can't seem to find anywhere that sells them. But, would it be worth doing for the cheaper bars?

anxiouswaiting · 05/09/2019 19:18

@Frenchdoors1 I couldn't find those either so did a cheaper bar - I think different people get offered different options, several of the ones I was offered I buy anyway so that was a bonus. I'm going to keep my eye out for the £8 ones though.

Also once you have done it you can refer people and if they complete it you get £5. I am going to ask friends and family to have a go so it really could be a good little earner more from the referal rather than the bar testing itself.

Frenchdoors1 · 05/09/2019 19:25

Thanks anxiouswaiting
So you already buy those, so it is a bonus yes.
They pay well for referrals too.

Doseydots · 05/09/2019 19:48

I’ve joined the taste test too and I found the £8 bar in the WH Smith’s at the railway station. I thought you could only do one bar at a time but I was sent 4 so I am going to do all 4

anxiouswaiting · 05/09/2019 19:59

@Doseydots You do one on the survey and then when thats submitted they said I could do more. The £8 bar is what they want the videos for as well and pay £40 so hopefully you will get offered that too. Our station has a Whsmith so I will try there at the weekend, thanks.

Doseydots · 05/09/2019 20:13

I found it hard to find the Cadbury nutty bar in WH Smith’s, they were on the ‘healthy snack’ shelf!

AHobbyaweek · 05/09/2019 20:18

Completed the nutty bar survey tonight and got DH to do one too! Found in a BP.

whatthewhatthewhat · 05/09/2019 20:18

Just wondering...

What's the earliest Crisp has ever paid?

AHobbyaweek · 05/09/2019 20:22

Also had Crisp the company come into my work place this week to try and sell me their social media "artificial intelligence" risk model. It was an interesting conversation Grin

Chocolatecakes · 05/09/2019 20:39

I have been watching this threads a while and started matched betting yesterday and today i made my first £12. Have also joined Appen and am looking out for surveys. Goal is £300 by the end of the month

Namechangerextraordinaire1 · 05/09/2019 21:01

I joined the snack bar taste test but it only gave me 2 options and one of them isn't on sale anywhere near me! The £8 nutty one that was. I can do the KIND bar for £2 but I didn't get rou d to it

Doseydots · 05/09/2019 22:01

@Chocolatecakes I am getting my head around matched betting. Where did you go for the advice. I get so nervous when I am
Placing bets ! Well done on the £12 !

@bkaz, I’m honestly as clueless about Pi as you are. I just joined based on the discussion on page 4 of this thread so you can read it as well. I just downloaded the app since I didn’t need to invest any money in it.
