Seems rather apt given the recent actions of some high profile FLP bots.

It's absolutely brilliant, all of it.

Though not fast enough, while there are still people paying their £200 for a missold business in a box, it is still bad.

It's not a question of if FLP go down in the UK, it's a question of when.

With Brexit looming, and an uncertain future with regards to the strength of the £ and regulations regarding their shady business practices, they may decide to call it a day sooner rather than later.

I hope it's sooner.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 24/09/2019 15:42

Wig n Sleaze have split up AGAIN and this time Wig is being very vocal about it. I wonder how comfortable their 'forever home' will be now?!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/09/2019 16:04

Wig only came back from visiting Sleaze & his mum in Portugal last week; she also tagged him in a 'Power Couple" post as recently as last Thursday...

I wonder what might have changed since then to upset their crypto-Ponzi idyll?

FranceTeam · 24/09/2019 16:30

Does FL manufacture aloe products themselves ? If so, do they also manufacture for other retailers?

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 24/09/2019 16:34

Possibly the fact that he's a Grade-A wanker but that's purely conjecture, obviously.
I wonder if her daughter will now vaccinate her baby now that him and his conspiracy theories have buggered off?

Whiterangey · 24/09/2019 18:12

I doubt it. I believe the conspiracy theories also come from Wig.

Apparently a shake a day keeps Yawn's fat arse away. So I think we should give milkshakes to every single vulnerable person in the UK so she will keep away from them.

As a sales pitch it's pretty bad, she is basically saying that if you buy shakes from her she will stop bothering you. Probably why she has no cheque.

Spongebobette · 24/09/2019 18:59

How can these FL bots have the bare faced cheek to post announcements that their generous company is 'doubling their income'????

Does anyone know whether this is an FLP UK only change, or whether it's being applied worldwide?

Spongebobette · 24/09/2019 19:56

Good question

RogueApostrophe · 24/09/2019 20:37

How did the UK end up being 2CCs when the other countries were all 1 point whatever?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/09/2019 20:51

I think it might have been something to do with 'pay to play' regulations in the UK designed to curb pyramid schemes- I understand the limit for a 'starter pack' here is £200. The 'biznis in a box' has therefore been set up and priced to match this.

The regulations in other countries are probably different, hence a different price/composition to the pack, with CCs adjusted accordingly?

Whiterangey · 24/09/2019 21:51

I think you are right with the £200.

Bad as the UK MLM situation is, at least it's never been the $8000 or thereabouts that were paid out for the initial Lularoe box.

Lularoe stories are bad, really really bad. Not to mention those who bought buses and transformed them into selling spaces. Great idea in theory. Some of the top bots in LLR were making millions per year in the two years it was popular.

I watched some videos during the LLR boom, it was insane. Multiple people trying to claim the same item, and the arguing when they didn't get the item when they felt they should have was horrendous. Over some crappy leggings, or clothes that make you look terrible.

Leggings are leggings, but the rest is unflattering shite. They marketed themselves as being suitable for larger bodies. All bodies deserve decent clothes and LLR is not decent.

It makes me angry. Not to mention the emphasis on frontloading.

I believe a variety of court cases, one of them regarding pyramid scheme something, are still going forward.

fromdownwest · 24/09/2019 21:51

Lord, Bots are so simple! How don't they see this for what it is?

Do they genuinely believe that its FL being a great company to work for, and not a last ditch attempt to draw cash out of fools?

Whiterangey · 24/09/2019 22:01

Yawn and the like will be thinking this is the key to them actually beginning to make some money again.

It must be so frustrating trying everything that used to work and finding it's not working anymore.

Yawn has just written a 1 hour training course that will get people earning £1500 a month in just 5 months.

She's totally shit as a mentor then, if she's been keeping this kind of thing from her downline all this time. Some of them have been with her for a year or two and aren't making anything.

user1479228519 · 24/09/2019 22:51

Just reading up on the new new applicants of The apprentice ( starts tomorrow)
One female applicant is a ‘Network Marketer ‘.... could be interesting especially if she gets to the interview stage and Claude tears her Biznis Olan to shreads!!!!

Whiterangey · 24/09/2019 23:18

Broke trying to give his dog JD and coke. Not funny.

Just read what Wig's daughter has written about Sleaze. Why would you stay with a man that your own daughter hates so much? He was obviously around the daughters a lot, why let that happen?

I wonder how long until the power couple are back together? How many times have they done this?

Spongebobette · 25/09/2019 07:52

Forever Living must have felt like a magic money tree 4 or 5 years ago; they were recruiting like crazy and the money just flowed in.
It’s down to a trickle now

SnoogyWoo · 25/09/2019 08:01

How much money does a new recruit have to spend a month on products to stay active?

TwattingDog · 25/09/2019 08:07

Oh god, my mate has just announced her "partnership" with Mermology. She's a bloody midwife.

Whenever I see a new recruit get suckered in I am quite surprised that they haven’t heard about MLMs and how they rinse you of money

A few years ago when my friend got botted I did a quick google and there was plenty of info ( that’s how I found these threads)
There must be loads more now

MLMsuperfan · 25/09/2019 09:34

Whenever Sleaze goes into an environment he asks how he can add value.

That's big talk for someone who contributes nothing but fake financial products and gammon-flavoured conspiracies.

Wig's added value by subtracting the human thumb from her environment. For the time being.

Spongebobette · 25/09/2019 09:49

Ah, I see that Leech has been to India to do FL stuff; lots of enthusiasm there for the business apparently.
A promising new market? Lots of people keen to improve their lives...
