Can anyone give me a clue for BBB? Please 🙏

Whiterangey · 17/09/2019 10:09

Yawn is really really desperate at the moment.

I am sure she will have already qualified for the global rally at 1500cc's, things are bad but not yet that bad, they may be, but I think she will qualify.

I think she is desperately trying to go for the 2500cc's, or maybe the cheque is within her reach this year considering her latest Ratners promotion.

Unless it is the 1500cc's she is concerned about. Still remember feeling gutted in 2018 when they were doing the cheques and they were getting to £100k and she still hadn't collected hers. The cheque must be for a lot as she still hasn't collected it.

Great article about the dwindling reputations of MLMs in the US. I can't wait until the TV show mentioned reaches the UK.

I am heartened by the MLM thread currently on AIBU - lots of awareness out there about what they are and how they operate.

Thank you to all those on here for who have worked hard to expose the pyramids for what they are and the impact on the victims.

Jigsawpuzzle · 17/09/2019 20:33

Yawn just open a window. Should I get you a science tutorial from my DD or Elon Musk, I thought you were all experts.

Paddy1234 · 17/09/2019 22:12

Highly amused at Yawn flaunting Aloe as special price that amounts to a 30 day trial at £2 per day.
Imagine a family of 5 spending all there food budget on a glass of aloe a day
#barking bloody mad

Norma27 · 17/09/2019 22:21

It's like my Herbalife bot who was all excited when I asked how much it cost to take part in a challenge.
Between £2-7 per DAY. But I would save that on my food shopping.
Bullshit. Took great pleasure in replying I would never be interested but just wanted her to state the actual costs on her posts.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 18/09/2019 07:33

Is Uber's sister trying to clear her garage (or Uber's garage) of stock bought for CCs?

She's selling 3 products for the price of what I thought just the toothpaste was so someone must be losing money.

ReformedBot or Dora can I ask ... are there any restrictions on how cheaply you're allowed to sell products?
Surely if a rival bot in your area (who could even be your upline/downline/sideline I suppose) is selling things off cheap then it affects other bots sales ??

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 18/09/2019 07:39

Also, call me cynical but it's interesting that Yawn has suddenly decided to "advertise" Mr Stickman's creations and has even commented on some of Mrs Stickmans posts recently. It's not like Yawn to have anything to do with anyone who leaves FL.

Wonder if she's hoping to lure her back as Mr & Mrs Stickman have just had a second baby and, judging by their posts, money could be a bit tight.

AntiBotics · 18/09/2019 08:36

Uber’s sister is chatting to tumbleweed about her biz. She’ll do a Gin & Skin event for 25 people commenting...2 people have commented and neither can host Hmm
Just a new name for a pamper party.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 18/09/2019 09:05

I notice she doesn't mention that she's providing the gin Hmm just that people get chance to try the products

Spongebobette · 18/09/2019 10:55

OH NO
stay strong Mrs Stickman!

Gotmychocolateimgood · 18/09/2019 11:03

I don't think there are any restrictions on how low you can sell the products. It would be in FL HQ's best interest for them to be sold off at whatever price, surely, so the bot would buy more.

There's a body shop at home rep who lives near me. Every couple of months she advertises loads and loads of stock at half price on marketplace. She breezily calls it a seasonal clear out to make way for new stock. I think she must be buying her way to promotions as there can't be any profit to me made by selling stock half price.

RogueApostrophe · 18/09/2019 11:04

Mrs Stickman is flogging wax melts. Is that an MLM or is she just getting a commission from flogging them?

Gotmychocolateimgood · 18/09/2019 11:05

Darceys wax melts is MLM and also scentsy. Does she mention a name?

Whiterangey · 18/09/2019 12:02

Bots are getting really desperate. No new signups and we are almost at the end of the year.

Nothing they are doing is working.

FranceTeam · 18/09/2019 12:25

What impact is the topical environmental issues having on MLMs?

For instance most MLMs are based on selling products in plastic bottles and packaging. If things turn against that even further, eg a plastic tax, then it would be hard for them to respond since they all deliver and can’t benefit from recycling or ‘being your own container’ schemes the same way a bricks and mortar retail shop can. Also many people are switching to more environmental methods eg using soap instead of plastic packaged shower gels. Could a further backlash against plastic hit their sales further?

Also many of the MLMs place a big focus on travel. Top bots describe themselves as ‘world travellers’. But if the no fly movement takes off, it would look pretty crass to fly to say Australia for a two day conference given the carbon footprint of such a flight.

You're not supposed to discount products heavily, that was only ever "allowed" on Black Friday. That said, I don't think it's actually in the Terms and Conditions but you'd be frowned upon by your team/upline for doing so and it was up lines who created the Black Friday exception - presumably to ensure a nice bonus still in January.

There were guidelines on how much you should discount by if you are going to discount but it was deemed unfair ifbots discounted and took no retail profit as there would be no way a new retailer would make their money back through retailing alone if no profit margin so when someone high up does it, they really undermine the training!

It is definitely a big no-no to use third party selling sites though such as eBay and Amazon. Did someone say they had seen Castle selling stock on eBay or am I misunderstood? That would be a majorly risky move for her if it Forever stock as accounts are supposed to be terminated for that (however I think the reality of how many were termination was inflated) and they could clamp down on it really easily by adding unique identifiers on orders and using a fake address to identify 'offenders. I don't know if that would be classed as entrapment but it seems an easy solution that they probably wouldn't want to do. Its not in their favour to stop stock moving!!

Gotmychocolateimgood · 18/09/2019 12:45

Castle has been selling furniture on eBay. I don't think she is selling FL products. She does have a huge amount of stock of c9s and diaries in her house though Grin

Gotmychocolateimgood · 18/09/2019 12:49

Castle is also selling a chipped dining table and 6 grubby chairs for a whopping £2300 (or best offer!)

Whiterangey · 18/09/2019 13:07

Given the bots are their best customers, and almost entirely their only customers, they would just pay the plastic tax.

That they seem to be desperate to claw back some of what they have spent trying to qualify for things and get bonuses, shows how bad it is getting that they are willing to risk selling so cheaply on facebook.

Why would you buy from Yawn when Uber's sis is shilling them so cheap?

I wouldn't be shocked if Castle had another ebay page and is selling forever shite there. She's dropped the price of the furniture but the only way it will sell is to take a zero off the end. I'm not being nasty, i've looked at similar sold items on ebay and that is honestly what she will get. She may not get anything for the table and chairs due to the state it's all in, but low three figures should be her asking price.

Ref0rmedB0t1 · 18/09/2019 13:15

I stand corrected, I thought somebody had said that the account she was selling furniture from had forget products for sale too. That would be pretty silly and she's more clever than that so I wasn't sure if I'd read it wrong.

Gotmychocolateimgood · 18/09/2019 14:14

She could very well have another account though.

Reminds me of a meme I saw years ago of a Wendy house built of empty aloe gunk cartons. The old style bright yellow plastic ones. I can't find it now.

Bet their garage is stacked!

If FL HQ had any business sense they would be jumping on the plastic free bandwagon now. Shampoo bars, soap bars etc. As a company with the pointless flights to rallies and general pointless products they are pretty bad eco wise.
